We're on a 'RINO' hunt, Tea Party Express leader says Posted: April 11th, 2010 04:16 PM ET
From CNN Political Producer Shannon Travis
Lansing, Michigan (CNN) A leader of the Tea Party movement has a warning for Republicans: the conservative grassroots movement intends to clean house in the Republican Party.
We need to purge the Republicans of the weaklings, Tea Party Express 3 Chairman Mark Williams told CNN. And were on a...RINO hunt. And were going to drive them to extinction. RINO - Republicans in name only is a bit of a political slur within the GOP that is sometimes used by staunch conservatives to refer to those fellow Republicans who they do not regard as hewing closely enough to the partys core principles.
I got more knife wounds in my back from Republican operatives, than Democrats could ever do, Williams said. He added, The Democrats at least stand there and tell me they hate me, and tell me that they hate America. These Republicans smile at me, shake my hand and then they stab me in the back.

Excellent hunting to boot!
ROTFLOL!!
Hunt them to extinction!

Well said!
Way to go, Mark!! Great job, Tea Party Express!!
Their rutting call is familiar. It sounds something like, “I’ll reach across the aisle! I’ll reach across the aisle!” The olerones usually ad “my friends” to the call. Hey I am all for reaching out across the aisle if it is to drag Democrats to our side.
Williams has that right.
The first few comments on the CNN website all yell like stuck pigs about being accused of 'hating America'. Of course, we know that what they really mean is that they hate the America of freedom and independence from a smothering, eventually totalitarian government. However, they love the America of Barack Obama...especially when they consider themself (as they all do) one of the 'elites'.
Fools.
What a glorious hunt to drive a beast to extinction!
The lesser of two evils will sate their palate too, just on a leaner diet.
Conservative and Constitution are worthy words of hope today IMO.
Kudos to the Tea Party movement.
Hatch, Mccain, Graham,Romney, Huckabee.
No bag limit .
I seem to recall hearing Orin Hatch, claim that Bill Clinton was "entitled to appointments of his choice" as he had "won the election."
Did any such dimocRAT ever make such a statement regarding a Bush appointee - no !
I watched as Bush, Rove and Santorum stood on stage with Specter to "assure" his reelection only to have Specter stab Bush in the back time and again.
I also watched as McCain stabbed Bush in the back regarding "torture" of our enemies.
Worse yet, I have never, ever seen a RINO vote against a tax increase (after the dims lower the amount - sometimes, sometimes not), all the while claiming to be "fiscally conservative."
There's no such thing as a "fiscal conservative," there are only RINOs who will gladly reach across the aisle while stabbing their "friends in the back."
Tea party chairman? Amazing how these things just happen...

I’m a self-proclaimed Tea Party Chairman of the Hollywood corridor..
No doubt...
In fact, that bent some so-called conservatives have of attacking Republicans while pretty much letting the Dems off the hook is how we got in this pickle in the first place.
