When I heard her, she said nucular, pronouncing it as Bush did. I hope she will say nuclear not nuc-you-lar in the future.

Sally Quinn gigged Palin for that on O’Reilly the other night. Laura Ingram called her on it (”pettiness”), but in a way it does distract from the message. If you're gonna walk the walk and talk the talk, at least pronounce the words correctly. It will save us having to defend an obvious error.

Um, that was a not-so-subtle nod to “Do You Miss GW Yet.” Sure, parts of the LSM will ding her for it. She clearly doesn’t care.

I rather be right on policy than wrong on pronunciation.

I also heard her say nu-cu-lar. Why in the world do educated people say that, for heaven’s sake? Disappointing.

She said it both ways in her speech—go back and listen. I think she’s doing it just to bug the MSM and liberals.

I don't giver a flying rat's bugger how whoever or whomever pronounces it...someone hits us, or threatens to hit us, with a nuke (BETTER?), I want their butt retaliated against, or better yet, stopped in the first place! We've got Black Hitler in the White House (black man posting) and FR is being taken over by the bloody Grammar Police!

I don't much care how she says it.
Or the commander-in-chief, for that matter; He can even call it the Atomic Corpse...

"Nucular" is one of those mispronunciations that people accept. I mean, did anyone complain about JFK calling Castro's island "Cuber"? I don't think so.

I personally prefer NUCLEAR, because thats how its spelled, but if NUCULAR was good enough for Edward Teller, then its good enough for me.
