“But I never carry because I work on a military base where contractors aren’t allowed to bring guns and I’m on call 24/7.”
Have you read the actual regulations? Every post can be different because it is up to the base commander to decide. At Yuma Proving Ground, the gun has to be in a locked container that is attached to the car.
Other places allow you to register the gun on post, and then you can have it in your car at work.
Sometimes you can work with JAG to make an unreasonable policy a little better, perhaps by pointing out that people would like to go hunting or target shooting after work and need to store their guns securely in their vehicle...
If you have a shooter for a Commander or post Sargent Major, it can happen...

Not being able to carry on a Military Base is just insane. The public most likely wasn't aware of this regulation until the Ft Hood incident.
I suppose you have to walk through metal detectors? My brother started carrying his into the shop he works at after it was sold to Muslim Pakistanis (sp). All this in fly-over country...what a wonderful world /s

When entire groups of males are freed from the responsibilities of work, fatherhood and home ownership there is plenty of time for other activities.

Not like the old days of “I/m proud t be an Okie from Muskogie” unfortunately. Those were the days when America had character, as opposed to characters. Too many characters floating around today!!

Seems to be the heartland needs to give their sheriffs the go ahead to take them down. The heartland isn't so pc it will coddle them, or promote their precious right to be here illegally or associate with each other in the first place. Put a stop to these crooks holding our towns and cities hostage. Most large cities and their police won't come down hard on them, but southern sheriffs sure would.

Mockery and shame should be used! absolutely. Just as it should be used toward Congress when they pull the race card, regarding gangs or anything else! Their laws and policies are enabling these things.
Just once I would love to hear Republicans stand up and say to the progressives “Shame on you!” when they call Americans racists.

It’s every parent’s fear. That your little girl meets some guy whose nickname is Cool Easy or Peanut. (I got those names from watching “The First 48”)
