Yes, it has also been reported that NONE of the cell phones worked when found in the wreckage. One Freeper is (rightly so IMO) speculating it might have been an mini EMP used which would have fried the plane’s electronic equipment necessary to land in such heavy fog which would also account for the cell phones not working.

On the other hand, the plane had already made 3 aborted attempts at landing - so why didn't they just EMP it the first time?
My gut feeling is that this is a tragic accident. Even my Polish wife thinks it's unlikely the Russians were involved, though she's usually deeply suspicious of them.
