From what I have read, they are planning to use these boats as platforms to launch supercavalating torpedoes, then ram the boats into the carriers themselves.

Folks should check out Jeff Head's Dragons Fury series. I think the supercavitating torpedoes pretty dangerous.

I don’t think they will be able to get that close. Being tied up for refueling is one thing, Being on ready operational status is something else.
