Ok, you guys that are lawyers that have read the health care bill; what does "National Medical Device Registry" mean? I did try searching FR but didn't find anything.
I've Googled it and it seems there is much confusion. Some say that it requires everybody to receive a microchip containing your personal health information. Others say it is just for keeping track of implanted biomedical devices, even though it is so vague as to possibly include every suture in your body.
Should we freak out and "refuse the mark of 666"? (I'm freaking out enough anyway ;-)

I’d hold off on the worry until they demand that you present your chipped left ear to the scanner in order to buy or sell stuff.
Must be something more technologically advanced than a number tattoo on the wrist.
It’s about “Class III” and some (life sustaining) “Class II” devices. Obviously not about Band-Aids and wheelchairs, but it seems to be an attempt to make the benefit of such devices quantifiable through keeping data that can be statistically analyzed. After all, the death panels have to have some objective reason to say yes or no to this or that pacemaker, etc.

Absolutely. But so far, I think you can relax. What you're talking about, if I have understood the issue at all, is that the rules say that if microchips are to be used on humans (approved for use), the approved device type will have to go into the medical device registry. No different from any other medical device.
It’s saying that all implanted devices (pacemakers, insulin devices, etc..) must be kept up in a database as to who has what in their body.

Actually, yes, the healthcare legislation is ALL about the coming use of it during the reign of the antichrist, who will soon be revealed to the world.
And, yes, it will be the vehicle through which the long foretold “mark of the beast” will be administered - in this country and likely the model for its administering throughout the world.
This was in fact the major reason this “legislation” had to be passed. It is the main reason that you know who could not rest until it was “passed”.
It is the main reason the Teaparty movement and all associated opponents of this “legislation” are engaged.
With this much information about it now disclosed, we must understand that the full revelation of the antichrist is about to occur.
Should it make us fearful?
Not if we belong to God through Jesus Christ.

My house is in order, I have accepted Jesus as my Saviour and Lord. Don’t mean to change the subject but; I don’t have the mindset that “I won’t worry because Jesus will rapture me out of any tribulation”.
There have been many millions of Christians who have suffered and died over the centuries and God didn’t “Rapture them out”.
While I do believe we are living in the prophetic end times I wouldn’t bet my life on just hoping for the Rapture.
I don’t have fear in that sense, I know in the end we win. However, I foresee a lot of bad stuff goin’ down before the end.
Back to my original question; Does the new Obamacare require a implanted chip to store our medical information?

I do not know the answer to your specific question.
And yes we will want to refuse whatever this legislation mandates in terms of what you are asking about.
