I think you’ll have to explain this one to me. I have no idea what you’re trying to say.
One of the temple oaths that the LDS take is called the ‘law of consecration’. :
“You and each of you covenant and promise before God, angels, and these witnesses at this altar, that you do accept the law of consecration as contained in this, the book of Doctrine and Covenants [he displays the book], in that you do consecrate yourselves, your time, talents, and everything with which the Lord has blessed you, or with which he may bless you, to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, for the building up of the kingdom of God on the earth and for the establishment of Zion. “
While the Doctrine and Covenats actually refers to giving all property to the LDS church (United Order or theocratic communism), most modern LDS take this (and the leaders have taught this) to be that you put the LDS church over EVERYTHING else.
All the LDS I know, and I did when I was LDS, interpreted this oath as putting the ‘church’ above the government at well.
Watch to see how often the LDS will put ‘the church’ first in their testimonies, comments and everything else, even over Christ.
