Debbie is a great American patriot. God bless her.

Debbie Schlussel is a nut job and no friend to conservatives.

Have to wonder how much he was deliberately tweaking American security.

Heard on a news report he was heading to visit a CONVICTED terrorist in prison.

Well, I understand what you are saying, but things are not hopless. Far from it. Things are still fixable.

Right now we are facing a test, in part, of just how wise the Founding Fathers were. The other part is how wise and strong we are.

Personally, I’m very optomistic. This may, in fact, be Conservatives finest hour.

He makes a bomb threat, just after some mentally disturbed individual made headlines for making undisclosed “threats” against a member of Congress. And the media doesn’t want to call it disruptive activity.

Wow! Amazing.

It’s of little surprise that the Obama Justice Dept doesn’t apply the law
equally between non-Muslims and Muslims — SECURITY IS NO JOKING MATTER.

It’s somewhat shocking, however, that Obama & Eric Holder are THIS blantantly obvious.

In Texas from the Texas Supreme Court to local district courts are on the ballot.

Agree with you 100%. Trouble is people never know anything about who is running for these judge positions, and tend to vote for whoever's name catches their eye. If I know nothing about either of the candidates in an election, I leave those choices blank. Many people people however, feel it's their duty to leave no spaces unchecked.

You never see judges on a public ballot

Sure you do. Only 11 states do not elect judges at any level from local to Supreme Court. The other 39 states do. We're the only nation that elects judges...for reasons you articulated: accountability. (The other nations would, of course, argue that appointments foster impartiality. So does The Nation magazine *choke*, who always thinks we should be more like any country but America.)

That said, the premise of your post is certainly valid, and I agree with you wholeheartedly.

Yeah yeah, racist, hate Muslims, right got it.

So why do Muslims keep flooding our borders if we’re such an awful place? (It’s a rhetorical question...)

With good reason. They would have been killed.

Agreed.

If there had ever been the remotest possibility of smearing Bush with that, it would still be ongoing.

Instead, a half hearted flailing or 2 suggesting oil for quick getaway, everyone knows there's no "there" there and now the only cheap shots come from....FR (sigh)

Isn’t diplomatic immunity granted by the country that the diplomat is in? If so, that country can withdraw that immunity. If Obastard had any guts he would have had that terrorist sympathizer arrested and sent to Gitmo.

Trouble is they are all politicians also. They look for financial backers. So, for me, their first priority is not the law and the Constitution (state or federal).

This may not be true of all but campaigning for office taints many it touches.

I also do not cast a vote for someone I do not know. Same is true if both are poor candidates.

If Barack Obama had any guts, he’d have expelled this guy–this Muslim diplomat who thinks threatening shoe bombs and lighting fires is funny (and a way to test our response and out the Federal Air Marshals on the plane). But he doesn’t have the guts.

It is worse than not having the guts to do this; Obama does not have the 'will'; nor does he have the desire; much less, even the slightest inclination to act against a Muslim. And certainly NOT on America's behalf.

Of course, we do not know for certain; but would guess/hope. . .that GW has figured out by now, just how threatening are the letters ROP.

Would add, that while they may be others; the only two candidates that I know of, who include 'Islamic threat' as issue to campaign against, are Lt. Col. Allen West and Marco Rubio; both in Florida.

Kudos to these men; and I hope a continuing generous support - so much needed given their broader focus on the threats that so challenge our Country.

Yes, would be much happier if Repubs could move forward and criticize Obama-the-terror; who is 'here now'; and not drag President Bush into every Democrat attack.

That said; are Diplomat's immune from 'jihad' motivations and inclinations?

This kind of behavior; should absolutely be off limits for immunity. If inclined to be a sceptic; at the least, we might allow that this could have been a test. . .to test, 'in air/on board' resolve and response. Which in the end; it was, regardless. The Air Marshals passed; once on ground; everything/everybody failed.

We have had any number of strange incidents, in air and as of late. What is it about our regulations that so challenge only the Muslim community? They in the meantime - no doubt - are learning a great deal.

A source of mine with the TSA in DC said that the guy’s final destination was actually Las Vegas.

He said that he’s lucky that the Air Marshal didn’t shoot him in the head. They are trained to instantly react to any dangerous situations.

Well this should have given the next Qatari diplomat two convicted terrorists to visit.

Absolutely right! There is no reason for the Bush bashing. He kept her a$$ safe in his years in office. To say he pandered to muslims is total bull$hit.
