Warehouse staff at brewing giant Carlsberg have staged a second day of walkouts in protest at a company decision to limit beer drinking at work to lunch breaks.
The strike in Denmark follows a move last week to change the rules for on-site drinking, the world's fourth-largest brewer said.
Carlsberg spokesman Jens Bekke told Sky News: "We think times have changed and we need an alcohol policy that is accepted by society - 93% of Danish companies have an alcohol policy.
"There has been free beer, water and soft drinks everywhere. (On Wednesday), beers were removed from all refrigerators. The only place you can get a beer in future is in the canteen, at lunch."

Hear, hear, Mr. Bekke.
I am wondering how it’s gonna go when they all sober up!!! LOL!
Beer during lunch and then 3 beers outside lunch? Uhhhhhhhh....no!
"I work for Carlsberg? When the heck did that happen?"
“The only place you can get a beer in future is in the canteen, at lunch.”
Jeeze, be happy you get that...
Take away a long held tradition and one of the best benefits of WORKING AT A BREWERY...genius.
Geesh... now I have seen it all... now a beer entitlement? Oh boy....

Limit beer drinking at work to lunch breaks. That’s ungodly,God gave us beer to prove he loves us.
“Mr Bekke said Carlsberg drivers claim a “very old right” to have up to three beers per day outside lunch hours.”
Of course those three beers outside lunch hours are in ADDITION to the-all-you-drink lunch buffet the company offers...
Fron June to August, 1952, I worked for the JAX brewery in New Orleans, located in the French Quarter, adjacent to the river, loading box cars and trailer trucks with cases of beer. It was union rules that you got two beers every two hours, so every two hours a case of cold beer was brought out to the box car we were loading and was consumed post haste while still cold.
The pay was $2.10 an hour with time and a half over 8 hours which happened several times a week. After about 4 weeks of work I did the numbers... making over $100 a week and getting over a hundred free beers a work week.
HOG heaven while it lasted.... it was good training for college in the fall....
Assistant: Most of the guys who walked aren't actually employed here.
Personally, I don’t want to work in an environment where people drink all day. And I’m a drinker.
It’s just too damn dangerous.
I will now play “Clair de lune” and clear this saloon!
Two dollars and a dime per hour in 1952? Man, that was big bucks city back then. Where I grew up that would have supported two families. I was born in ‘44 and I have clear memories of hearing adult men talk about getting a job at a dollar an hour and being very proud of it.
I wonder. When working as an engineer (even before earning my Bachelor's) I quickly learned I couldn't join my colleagues in a (single) beer during Friday lunch at the local Mexican restaurant without it impeding my productivity that afternoon.
Yet in recent years, whenever my committees' French members play host there's always wine (French wines are very good!) present at lunch and it doesn't seem to impede them. (And the French do turn out good engineers -- think: who was the first non-superpower to get to space?)
I don't know if it's physical/genetic or simply cultural education, but some folks seem to be able handle this better than others. (Do you remember the scene in the movie "Robinson Crusoe" where the Highlander is having his traditional breakfast of oatmeal and whisky?)
