Our own Dr. Dan Benishek is running for congress against Bart Stupak. He is scheduled for an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox Thursday night.

We will have to watch tonight. I think my husband’s and Dr. Benishek’s careers at the hospital overlapped by about a year and a half. It’s been a long time, but his name sounded familiar to me the first time I heard it.

Fifteen minutes sums up his 3 hour radio show AND his one hour TV show. Not much else there after that.

I'll be watching too. Stupak has got to go. I've read enough about Dr. Benishek to know he's conservative Christian. That's who we need in office now more than ever.
If you have a facebook account you can find him by searching, Benishek for Congress. I first heard about him from our local Tea Party leader.

I like what he says on his facebook page. He’s a Reagan conservative through and through. You could tell he was nervous. He’s what many politicians use to be, a Patriotic American, not a career politician. They were farmers, doctors, ect. Would go in for a term or two and then leave and go back to whatever they did before. On top of that, they didn’t spend much time in Washington.

Ever since Bart Stupak’s caving on health care, Dr. Benishek’s campaign has been getting attention. I think he could be a credible candidate and being a doctor can’t hurt.
