Thank God for Glenn Beck!! I first heard about tea parties by watching him. He can take a lot of credit for their success.

Indeed it is.

Speaking solely for myself, I don't WANT to need to monitor the government every day. I'd like to vote for (and elect) a trustworthy steward, one who occasionally consults with me on matters pertaining to my interests. One who generally has my interests at heart, and who listens when I speak.
Instead, the gov't reminds me more of a three-year-old that's constantly exploring their boundaries. I feel the need to be constantly attentive, to say "NO! Don't touch the cookie jar", then come back two minutes later and find them balancing on a chair, reaching for the cookies again....
I can spank the three-year-old and eventually get the behavior that I'm seeking.
This Novemember, I think, Politicians and Dems in particular are going to going to get the spankings of their lives. I'll be glad to go and cut the switch.

We ruling Libtard elitists demand that you immediate pull this evil, hateful and racist thread -- never allow any other similar post -- and ban 2ndDivisionVet for life -- because of the damage they can cause to our Marxist agenda.

Tea Party folks are just patriots worried, with good reason, about the future of the country they love. Every month the numbers grow...

I went to a rally yesterday. The featured speakers were Michelle Bachman and Sarah Palin. It was held at the Minniapolis Convention Center. The crowd was respectful and very large. The floor was clean and there were no “incidences”. We had a wonderful time. Tim Polenty spoke, not impressed! Michelle and Sarah had the crowd in their hands. There is the ticket for 2012. Either way, I trust these ladies.

"When have [Americans] not been slow to recognize the need to deal with forces, foreign or domestic, aligning against our best interests?"I dont believe there ever has been such a time.
"...accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed."

Good article, and true.
I read an eye opening article yesterday by columnist Walter Williams titled, “Parting Company”.
He wrote;
If one group of people prefers government control and management of people’s lives and another prefers liberty and a desire to be left alone, should they be required to fight, antagonize one another, risk bloodshed and loss of life in order to impose their preferences or should they be able to peaceably part company and go their separate ways?” ...continued;

His articles are always excellent.

This guy has been hitting monster home runs the last couple of weeks.
I hear the liberal rag lets him out of his cage once a week. I would bet they have never seen traffic to an online story like they are seeing in the last couple of weeks.
