Come when you can and stay for as long as you can!! It is VERY, VERY important for everyone to remember not to trespass on actual post office property, block any driveways, or hinder the movement of anyone who needs to pass our groups. But we can line the sidewalks leading to the post offices. So bring your signs and comfy shoes...it's time to show Sacramento and DC how many fed up tax payers there are!

COUNTER PROTESTERS

By now many of you have heard that leftists are trying to organize counter protests to Tax Day Tea Party efforts. We generally expect this at all events now, and you all know the drill. Keep it cool, peaceful, don't be provoked and keep it non-violent.

Bring cameras, and more importantly VIDEO RECORDERS. Record ANYTHING that looks like someone trying to stir up trouble. Be on the look out for plants PRETENDING TO BE ONE OF US with racist signs or comments.

Consider bringing a small sign that says "NOT ONE OF US" or "FAKE TEA PARTIER" etc. to hold behind someone who is pretending to be one of us. Some of you will remember a few of the fakes we had last year...they are pretty easy to spot.

If all else fails, chants of "USA" and "God Bless America" are good ways of drowning out noisy confrontations.

AND REMEMBER: the police are there because they have to be. They are there to keep the peace and protect our first amendment rights. So far they have been nothing but respectful of local tea party efforts. If you are coming open-carry you know the drill.

Please go to the link for maps and parking information.

Hope to see you there!

I would caution against doing any on camera, or off camera interviews. If legit, they will most likely twist it around. I've seen, here in the Cincinnati area, dozens of Tea Party / Freeper people interviewed, including me, and most time, none of them make it to print or TV. It's like the so called news shows only have so much time and Tea Party /Freeper events are at the bottom of the priority list. Of course, the other side could have three people, with PALIN IS A MONSTER scrawed on brown paper bags, and they will get 5 minutes of coverage. NOT kidding here, true happening! I wonder if sometimes, they really don't have film in the cameras, or are just pretending to be filming. Or they are filming alright, and giving the film to gubment boys or to the Obambi regime goon squads for who know what. But , my main concern is that they will twist it all around, and cut up sentences like cutting with a scalpel, for the sole purpose of making us look like a fool. It's up to you, play it by ear and go for it if you think it's on the level, but beware!

I agree! We do have to be careful. I’ve seen some asking for interviews and stating it’s for “a project”. I passed them by.

So Cal Tax Revolt Coalition has created some free DOWNLOADABLE SIGNS

you can print off your desktop

OR

20”x30” JPEG versions
that can be uploaded on-line to your local Costco (or other media center
