Tea Party launches ad against Stupak

We reported in First Thoughts this morning that Bart Stupak is thinking about not running for re-election.

And now Tea Party Express is going on air against him.

The ad asserts that Stupak "betrayed our Constitution. You sold us out on the health-care vote. And now it's time for you to pay the political price."

Tea Party Express says it "is part of a $250,000 campaign by the Tea Party Express to defeat Congressman Stupak."

Here's the full script:

"Congressman Bart Stupak, you betrayed our Constitution. You sold us out on the health-care vote. And now it's time for you to pay the political price. Join the Tea Party Express as we send Bart Stupak packing for early retirement.

"Log on to Tea Party Express.org as we fight to defeat Bart Stupak. Our Country Deserves Better Pac/Tea Party Express.org is responsible for the content of this ad."

Our Country Deserves Better has run ads against Harry Reid and for Scott Brown.
