this mine will be closed down and more people unemployed.
Fox News has been going more and more Liberal.....anti-business, pro-illegal, pro-terrorist...and even slandering people like Geert Wilders.
Too many think Fox is “conservative”....which is absolute nuts. Just watch their coverage over the past two years, and you can see the drift to the left....
Massey Energy is a union busting company, pays miners much more than union shops. Blankenship is a heavy contributor to the Republican party in the state and nationwide. No wonder he is being demonized. He recently had a one-on-one with that Moonbat, Robert Kennedy on mining v. the environment. Blankenship clearly cleaned his clock.
Is Jonathan Hunt sheppies new "boy toy" ??
I was horrified at Jonathan Hunt’s demeanor and questions in that interview, and sent in a couple of comments to the Fox News website complaining about it. If we (rightfully so) complained about Katie Couric’s biased interview questions of Sarah Palin, we should also complain about Jonathan Hunt’s biased questioning of the mine owner.
I’m not a fan of the ambush-style of interview that is becoming popular, as it doesn’t end up eliciting and answers or news of any sort. I just thought Jonathan came off looking like an ass, and I won’t be tuning into anymore of his segments anymore because of it.
...on another menu perhaps, but since this explosion I have been asking myself a question that I can’t answer..maybe someone here can give me a sane response.
In recent mine mishaps we’ve all watched over a tragic few days, the effort to dig (or bore) these breathing or rescue
borings.......why aren’t these done before hand?...and capped, or fixed so that any future mishaps can be dealt with faster? It is always the gases that hold up rescue attempts and kill....why can they be vented? As the mine goes deeper and wines it’s way along, venting should be done.
I only ask because I don’t know, is it the cost?
Massey has a bought and paid for justice on the sta(e supreme court that reversed a valid jury award in a conracrpt case.
