Warning about how unusual this is to have been released now. This administration is very sneaky. Lots of images of Michelle with kids, garden, Easter...all feel good stuff and then let this out. Strategy maybe is so it can be discussed and dismissed before the election cycle gets in full swing. Speech is on YouTube at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLDHDfPNBME

I have a sneaking suspicion that there is an ever increasing number of Democrats who wouldn’t mind having a peek at Obama’s long form birth certificate.

I heard Glenn Beck offer a similar take yesterday.
I don’t think this administration is that clever. Rather, I think it shows their arrogance towards critics that they can’t be touched.
To: An American!
Also Glenn Beck talked about this same viewpoint:
MICHELLE OBAMA: Surrounding HIV testing which is still plaguing so many of our communities, which you all know a lot of that is due to homophobia. Barack has led by example. When we took our trip to Africa and visited his home country in Kenya, we took a public HIV test.
GLENN: Stop. Stop.
PAT: So obvious.
GLENN: When we ‑‑ and we visited his home country in Kenya. Okay. Really? Really? Are we this stupid? Really? "Oh, my goodness, she just verified!" Did she now? May I ask this question: What is it that they're trying to do right now? What is it they are trying to do? Every bit of their action is poke, poke, poke, make them extremists, poke them some more. Every bit of it! Uh‑huh. Mmm‑hmmm.

A lot is being “leaked” right now. But are all he leaks the truth. The game plan could be to put out truthful dirt like the MO video before the elections but pile on even more outlandish tales in hopes that will diminish the fallout.

FINEMAN: Obama from land of long-distance runners... You probably saw this one where Fineman says Obama came from a land of long-distance runners. Fortunately for Fineman, Olbermann was there to tell him what to say. http://www.breitbart.tv/newsweeks-fineman-obama-comes-from-a-country-of-long-distance-runners/

According to Glenn Beck, you’re a lunatic if you believe any of this birther stuff. Even though the supreme law of the land requires the President to be a Natural Born Citizen to be eligible for the job.
He was on a rant yesterday on his radio program demonizing anyone who questions Ogabe’s legitimacy.
I’m done with this fraud.......Beck and Ogabe.

So, the White House putting out a video of Shelly stating they went to 0bambi's HOME COUNTRY in an attempt to bait "birthers" is going to work for them how?

As if AIDS is just a gay (sic) disease... AIDS is caused by a virus, not by a genetic defect or by a lifestyle.
Sure. And drunkenness is caused by the way the body processes alcohol, not by drinking too much. /sarc

I heard this same argument on a radio show this morning and I frankly don't understand it. It sounds to me as though IF the WH released it (and I don't have any thoughts yet on who released it), then they also released the talking points on how conservatives are to treat it. Be afraid of it, suspect why it's coming out now, don't blow it out of proportion so that you will look nuts. Why should
we look on the fringe about this? It's Michelle and her husband who ARE way over the line on support and love of their country (the USA). His home country? Kenya? Happy that they were required to take an AIDS test? Maybe they knew it was going to come out anyway and released it along with talking points to tell us to be careful with it to dilute it because we're the ones with a more powerful alternate media.
Like anything, yes, we should handle it with care and discretion. But we should point out what it tells us about the current residents of the WH.

I think that is a bit much.
Nobody made a video in 2008 preparing for an anti-tea party strategy in 2010, regardless of the release date of the video.
I don’t think anyone would agree that the video does anything positive for the administration or Michelle. Well, except for this author!
To: An American!
If it wasn’t intended, it sure wasn’t screened well.
I have no problem believing that Kenya is where Bummer’s heart is. This is still bizarre as presidents go. When did any other one talk about their “HOME LAND” of Ireland, Scotland, Britain, or whatever?

This statement by Beck was interesting: GLENN: Okay? If you have ‑‑ if you're playing to your base and you are trying to paint people as crazy, as tea partygoers, as hateful, as people you just can't be around and you are trying to rally your base around you, wouldn't one of the best things that you could do is go on the Birther thing? Let me just give you the poll numbers on it. With independents, 83‑8. Was he born in America? 83% of independents say yes. 8% say no. Among adults between 45 and 59, 82 to 8. In the Midwest? 90‑6. In the midwest, not the Northeast. In the Midwest ‑‑ think Ohio ‑‑ 90‑6. They have nothing that polls this well, nothing. Is he an American? Yes. The majority says overwhelmingly yes. So if you want to make them into moon landing people, what's the most effective sign that you could carry at a tea party? I mean, if you are thinking like the Obama administration, he was born in Kenya. It's the most effective sign to paint you into a nut job that you can carry. Why is this tape being released now? They need you to be perceived as a nut job! parsy, who says Beck seems convinced its a set up
