No there isn’t. There is no evidence that anything unusual is going on. People like to say that when there have been a bunch of high profile events - on any given subject. All of a sudden “something must be going on”

This is simply not true and there is nothing to indicate that anything unusual is going on.

These quakes have been in areas that are prone to earthquakes.

This is the nature of earth. Earthquakes are part of the natural process.
