Yes, it was corrupt but they were under an elected government. It was the North who were the agressors dear Jane. You know, the communists ones you loved. We were protecting the choice that the people of South Vietnam made. You were a disgrace to America and in another time, would have been hung for consorting with the enemy. You can’t make enough amends in some peoples eyes. However, denying what you did is not going to make amends to a lot of other people.
