Well..., right off the bat, you've got a problem with some other FReepers, who have posted right here on this thread. The "thinking" there is that "you cannot impeach Obama!"
Yeah, that's right. There are FReepers telling you that you can't impeach Obama -- because -- "Obama is not really the President!"
SO, I would suggest the first place you start in your "Impeachment drive" is convincing some FReepers that he is President, so you can then think about "Impeaching him" ... LOL ...
AND..., once you get around those Freepers who maintain you can't Impeach Obama, the next thing you have to "get around" is all the Democrats in the House who won't let you Impeach Obama.
BUT, when you analyze it all -- it always comes down to "How many votes do you have?" There's the solution.
If you want to Impeach Obama or if you want to get him out of office, politically speaking -- it's always going to come down to "How many votes do you have?"
That's it... nothing more than that.
And 3 years from now we will be saving what ? THREE YEARS of this? I doubt there will be elections in 3 years my friend.
You probably don't know how many posts there were about the same thing with Clinton and how he was not going to leave the Presidency and that this would be the last election we would ever see (with Clinton)....

The bottom line is that we'll still have elections and you can vote Obama out -- simply by having enough votes to defeat him. That's the goal here -- it's to "get the votes" to defeat him.
And in politics, if you don't have enough votes -- you simply don't deserve to win... that's the bottom line.
It's all in the votes.

Are you saying that the POTUS has the absolute power to change America's defensive posture and procedures just 'cuz he wants to? Where does the constitution give the Executive branch of government such authority without the advise and consent of Congress? or the Joint Chiefs? or the people? HE IS NOT THE KING!!!

I really choke over saying this, but Clinton, at the very least, realized that America had a special quality that allowed him to play a little fast and loose without having a firing squad show up in the Rose Garden.
Obama has no such realization. Neither do the people who surround him. I think he and his cohorts really believe they're untouchable (which remind me, why is bill Ayers still walking the streets, and even worse, teaching in a University?)

Well..., you might want to consider this answer to that question you asked... "Because the President has the authority to do that."
It could be as simple an answer as that.
