It’s delusory to think that these Maoists are really working for the good of their country or people. They could care less about that.
Sure, Communism is destructive to any country that tries it. That’s been proven again and again. But it’s a damned good way to gain power and oppress people, under the pretence of helping them. And there will always be ignorant people who are suckers enough to believe their line.
Everybody got trouble, from the commies and the islamos.
We should worry about Maoists, but we have them here, occupying the White House and the Congress now....I’d say for us the threat is more immediate.
Forget about the maoists in india. We’ve got them here in the whitehouse to contend with.

Socialism is a very attractive drug, and once addicted it is incredibly hard to break free.
I am not sure how/if we can ever truly break people of its pull.
I guess when socialist movements rise up we can just wipe them entirely out down to the last person, but I am afraid that only encourages the idea elsewhere.
Constitutions must be written in such a way to prevent socialist laws, regulations, etc, but if a people want something bad enough they’ll just change the constitution.
I’ve settled on the idea that universal suffrage just won’t work in the long run. No one whom depends on government assistance (charity) should really be allowed to vote. Something along the lines of “voting citizens” will have to be created where only those whom show their value to society, own land, served in the armed forces, etc, can be allowed to vote. The non productive, leechers just can’t be allowed to vote themselves more of other peoples money.
