Ah, let us compare the activities of the two: Weather Underground Deaths: At least 5. Tea Party Deaths [to Date]: None.

Does that '5' include the deaths of the 3 shot to death in the '83 Brinks truck robbery? It was a joint attack between the Weather Underground and Black Liberation Army (BLA). They often carried out attacks together. The BLA is also believed to have been involved in the bombing of the San Fran police station in the 70s. Two police officers I believe were murdered there, and at least one other maimed. Ayers himself actually implicated his co-terrorist wife, Bernardine Dohrn, in building and planting the bomb. The case was thrown out because of "improper wiretapping".

I said “at least” which puts only a lower-bound on it. I haven’t done any real research on the Weather Underground; just reading a few stories & a few web-searches.

IE I’m being a bit ‘lawyerly’ and not saying things that I really don’t know about; I know that there were deaths caused by them, even violent deaths, whereas the ‘Tea Party’ has none... and, in fact, the Tea Party is such that a fistfight would garner a lot of attention regardless of who instigated it or if it was perfectly understandable.

Hey, we need the Media to produce as many photos of the Weather Underground [Black Panthers, et al] that we can get them to so that we can study them closely looking for 0bama.

I still contend that 0bama was part of Ayers’ group and/or Black Panthers starting with his Occidental College days.

But the Tea Partiers aren't going around trying to kill people and blow things up. The slime ball leftist media knows there is no way on earth to compare the two movements. Left-wing propagandists don't believe most of what they put out there for their idiot readers and viewers to accept as 'reality'. Their only aim is to undermine anything that is pro-American.

I believe there is a decent possibility that Obama knew Ayers back in the 80s. They both attended college in Manhattan NY at the same exact time: Ayers at Bank Street College, Obama at Columbia College (part of Columbia University). The two schools are about 3 or 4 blocks apart. And Obama definitely WAS a communist revolutionary then (as now). He was in deep with the communist-left "no-nukes" groups and spoke about Marxist revolution with then fellow communist John Drew. See my FR Home page for more info.

Agreed.

I just did with # of deaths; you just did with the ideologies.

>Left-wing propagandists don’t believe most of what they put out there for their idiot readers and viewers to accept as ‘reality’.

Now you’re scratching the surface; it’s an attempt to use the saying “perception is reality.”

>Their only aim is to undermine anything that is pro-American.

Which is why the two should be [correctly] compared; it invalidates ALL of their propaganda.

Public displays of political anger have been a staple of the American scene for the last eight months or so...
************

Political anger has been freely expressed in America for about 233 years. The Left isn’t comfortable with it now since the anger is directed against them.

But the Days of Rage (Chicago 7 trial riot) has much more in common with the ANSWER/Code Pink Communist funded riots against the war in Iraq.

Undercover agent Larry Grathwohl discusses the Weather Underground's post-revolution governing plans for the United States:

Larry Grathwohl:

"I asked, 'well what is going to happen to those people we can't reeducate, that are diehard capitalists?' and the reply was that they'd have to be eliminated. And when I pursued this further, they estimated they would have to eliminate 25 million people in these reeducation centers. And when I say 'eliminate,' I mean 'kill.' Twenty-five million people. I want you to imagine sitting in a room with 25 people, most of which have graduate degrees, from Columbia and other well-known educational centers, and hear them figuring out the logistics for the elimination of 25 million people. And they were dead serious."

From American Thinker, September 16, 2008
Article: Obama's Foul Weather Friends
By Scott Swett and Roger Canfield

"As a gesture of solidarity, the Vietnamese who [Bernardine] Dohrn met in Budapest presented her with a ring made from an American aircraft shot down over North Vietnam. Bill Ayers would receive a similar ring while meeting with Vietnamese communists in Toronto. He later recalled being so moved by the gesture that he 'left the room to cry.' "

Yes, quite a full-court press in the media concerning unfounded accusations of violence on the part of the Tea Party attendees. They're at their most obnoxious when they're all bleating the same tune, and this is pretty obnoxious by now.

They should be careful what they're asking for, though. Ayers and the rest of the Weather Underground were amateurs and punks. It isn't a good idea to prod into violence people who are neither.

Re: JEFF JONES

From The Obama File:

Violent Domestic Terrorist Helped Write Stimulus Package

The latest shocker is Jeff Jones.  Jones was the co-founder of the violent radical terrorist group Weather Underground with Bill Ayers. Jones has much blood on his hands, and yet, he is part of the Apollo Group founded by Van Jones, no relation, a self proclaimed communist!

http://www.theobamafile.com/_associates/JeffJones.htm
__________________________________________

From the New York Post:

"Jeff Jones was a domestic terrorist [member of the revolutionary communist Weather Underground -ETL] in the late '60s and a fugitive from justice throughout the '70s -- yet now he's a leader of an influential, taxpayer-funded group.

Jones was a fugitive from justice for 11 years. His own account at his Web site says: "As a leader of the Weather Underground, Jeff evaded an intense FBI manhunt for more than a decade. In 1981, they finally got him. Twenty special agents battered down the door of the Bronx apartment where he was living with his wife and four-year-old son."

With Mark Rudd and Bill Ayers, Jones in 1969 co-founded the radical Weatherman, which orchestrated the violent "Days of Rage" riots in Chicago, and later undertook an anti-government bombing campaign. Three of its members died when a bomb they were constructing to attack Fort Dix accidentally detonated in Greenwich Village.

And Jones is still proud of his terrorist activities -- saying as recently as 2004: "To this day, we still, lots of us, including me, still think it was the right thing to try to do."

Now, Jones is back to revolutionary organizing -- but with taxpayers footing the bill. He's the director of the Apollo Alliance's New York affiliate and a consultant to the national group.

Apollo unifies the three most powerful elements of the political left -- environmental groups, labor unions and street organizers like ACORN -- and points them toward a common goal that enriches all of them under the banner of "green jobs." (Van Jones was an Apollo board member until he joined the White House staff.)

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid recently credited Apollo with helping write the stimulus bill and getting it passed."

VAN JONES (Obama's former 'Green Jobs Czar'):

YouTube:
"Valerie Jarrett, Senior Advisor to President Obama, speaks [lovingly] about Green Job Czar, Van Jones, at the Netroots Convention on August 12, 2009. Then Van Jones speaks about [a COMMUNIST] transforming [of] the whole society."

"Jones was the leader and founder of a radical group, the communist revolutionary organization Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement, or STORM. That group, together with Jones' Elle Baker Center for Human Rights, led a vigil Sept. 12, 2001, at Snow Park in Oakland, Calif.

STORM's official manifesto, titled, "Reclaiming Revolution," surfaced on the Internet."--via TheObamaFile

VAN JONES SHOCK ADMISSION [in his own words]: "Goal is Complete Revolution"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fh4Z0V0zNQg
_________________________________________________

Here is the transcript of the above YouTube video:

“Right after Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat if the civil rights leaders had jumped out and said OK now we want reparations for Slavery, we want redistribution of all the wealth, and we want to legalize mixed marriages. If we’d come out with a maximum program the very next day, they’d been laughed at. Instead they came out with a very minimum. “We just want to integrate these busses…”

But, inside that minimum demand was a very radical kernel that eventually meant that from 1964 to 1968 complete revolution was on the table for this country.

And, I think that this green movement has to pursue those same steps and stages.

Right now we say we want to move from suicidal gray capitalism to something eco-capitalism where at least we’re not fast-tracking the destruction of the whole planet. Will that be enough? No, it won’t be enough. We want to go beyond the systems of exploitation and oppression all together. But, that’s a process and I think that’s what’s great about the movement that is beginning to emerge is that the CRISIS is so severe in terms of joblessness, violence and now ecological threats that people are willing to be both pragmatic and visionary.

So the green economy will start off as a small subset and we are going to push it and push it and push it until it becomes the engine for transforming the whole society.

Here's the original source for the Van Jones quote about the time he spent in jail following the Rodney King/LA riots (Jones was arrested in "peaceful" protests in San Fran). It was in a 2005 interview he did with East Bay Express. They of course (what else?) claim he "renounced his rowdy Black Nationalist ways" since then (yet he's calling for "complete revolution" in Aug 2009! ...see above):

But in jail, he said, "I met all these young radical people of color -- I mean really radical, communists and anarchists. And it was, like, 'This is what I need to be a part of.'" Although he already had a plane ticket, he decided to stay in San Francisco. "I spent the next ten years of my life working with a lot of those people I met in jail, trying to be a revolutionary." In the months that followed, he let go of any lingering thoughts that he might fit in with the status quo. "I was a rowdy nationalist on April 28th, and then the verdicts came down on April 29th," he said. "By August, I was a communist."

_________________________________________________

The 1992 LA/Rodney King riots were instigated by the Revolutionary Communist Party...

From David Horowitz's FrontpageMag.com /DiscoverTheNetworks.org:

"Throughout its history, one of RCP's [Revolutionary Communist Party] principal objectives has been to foment civil unrest in the United States. The most notable example of such efforts occurred on April 29, 1992, when RCP members looted and trashed the downtown and government districts of Los Angeles, triggering the infamous Rodney King riots. During the days immediately preceding the violence, RCP -- which maintained close ties to the L.A. gangs known as the Crips and the Bloods -- had circulated throughout South Central Los Angeles a leaflet featuring a statement by RCP National Spokesman Carl Dix, titled 'It's Right To Rebel' -- a quote popularized by Mao Zedong.

Encouraged by Dix, RCP activists helped lead the riots that would leave 58 people dead, more than 2,300 people injured, some 5,300 buildings burned, and $1 billion in property damaged or destroyed. On the ten-year anniversary of the rioting, RCP member Joseph Veale fondly recalled the violence as 'the most beautiful, the most heroic civil action in the history of the United States.'"

When does an arrogant government which continually ignores the will of the of people become a tyrannical regime?

I'd say at least a year ago....but I think it has been longer than that.
