JJust remembered something I mentioned to Wife the other day. The Q&R Morning thread is closer to the way FR was way back in the begining. IIRC it was on Compuserve, then Prodigy, then maybe GEnie and was more of a club where computer folks got to gether to talk about politics and LOTS of other stuff.
Eventually Drudge started liking FR and it started growing.
I joined around that time...1998...but had been lurking through the early years.
FWIW I enjoyed it more then...sigh.
