JJust remembered something I mentioned to Wife the other day. The Q&R Morning thread is closer to the way FR was way back in the begining. IIRC it was on Compuserve, then Prodigy, then maybe GEnie and was more of a club where computer folks got to gether to talk about politics and LOTS of other stuff.

Eventually Drudge started liking FR and it started growing.

I joined around that time...1998...but had been lurking through the early years.

FWIW I enjoyed it more then...sigh.

Has anyone her ever suffer from Menopause????Rose is going through a ruff time. I personally know someone with the things leading up to it and it is not good. I love Rose when they used to come to Indiana Jim would have his groupies and you could not get close to him. When everyone went to watch the movies they played I would stay with Rose and she would ask me questions about the show..little ole me...she is very nice in person. I am giving her some leeway as she is fighting the body's hormones going wacko..and having a broken back. This is is what it is because of her I used to listen to the show before Rose and all I can say is God Bless Rose..just my 2 cents..

And for years he has overcompensated for her when she stumbles over the words or the actual essence of the subject matter.

I understand their very close relationship, and that is a good thing. But he weakens himself and defers to her way to often on the show. And sometimes, he seems to act like the hyper seventeen year old high school boy trying to impress the girl. It makes him look foolish.

Nevertheless ........... to me Quinn is the greatest. I wish he were always doing to show alone .......... he is perfectly excellent by himself, and this nation needs him by himself. When he explains economics, capitalism, and all the peripheral subjects, there is NO ONE BETTER! This country needs his calm, often witty, and brilliant explanations of the important subjects effecting us all.

All Rose seems to want to talk about is "Muslim hatred", her brand of Christianity, etc. She is a broken record .... and truly, she is not very smart.

I hear you. I listen to every moment of the show every day (unless I must tune out Rose) because I have radios all over my nursery.

I consider Jim Quinn the very best talksow host in the country.

He is more informative,witty, and wise than any other guy in the country. (Jerry Doyle is great too.)

Jim has aged very, very well.

(And ...... the incredible assortment of imitations/impersonations he can do is amazing. He does Clintton better than Clinton. And he does Rodney Dangerfield better than Rodney (did)).
