For about 10-15 seconds, I kind of stood in the house (upstairs) watching the chandeliers sway. When it didn’t feel like the rolling was going to stop, grabbed my son and ran out the front door. Hubby and daughter and dogs went out back. It rolled for another 20 seconds after we got outside.

could be coincidence, but evidence is growing that major earthquakes can trigger other quakes on other fault systems. Since this 6.1 is in a very active portion of the San Andreas system, stress could be transferred northward to bound up areas of the fault.
