Or raised animals (chickens, rabbits,ect) for meat!
Quite a difference in killing for a thrill and killing for food. I don’t enjoy it but it has to be done at times.
Killing a small family pet out of anger, dog or cat, is not hunting.
As to my going hunting, I own two gun dogs, trained to hunt. I feed what I kill to the dogs. They love the taste of wild duck more than I do.
