When you read this, did anyone else think of that girl who was killed blocking Israeli bulldozers? You know after being told a million times to get the hell out of the way? Rachel Corrie I believe?

It really sounds idyllic. After getting up at dawn and working in the fields all day planting grain and harvesting coffee beans, then trying to find a tree to squat against but finding a black mamba instead, nothing beats kicking back in front of the fire with a cup of warm cow blood.

If she is so “Academically gifted” then she might know that the life of an average african tribal wife one that places her lower than whale shit. If she is black she will find out what it is like to be a “real” african. Good luck with your new life twit.

Elaine: The Massai bushmen wear these great sandals and we’re gonna. knock them off. Not the Massai, the sandals.
Doctor: I’ll need a urine sample.
Elaine: Right.

No retirement plan, onset of old age (past birthing ability) and he’ll ditch her for a younger woman, about 10 years from now.
Wait’ll she sees how ‘sensitive’ he is in bed.
Wait’ll she gets pregnant and discovers the joy of birth in the bush.
Wait’ll it occurs to her the children will be raised without an education. Her roots will harken back to her out of motherhood.
She’ll come out of this all ready for Gloria Allred.

Well, as one of the few here on FR, who has actually lived in an African village, without running water, and with electric power that kept going off at least 5 times a day, and in addition to that, having personally known some Africans, who came back to Africa with white Russian wives back in the days of the Soviet Union, when a lot of Russian girls would sometimes marry an African student, just so they could get out of Russia, I'd say they'd be lucky if their marriage lasted more than three years. This is even worse because they are not going to live in the cities, but instead out in the village with no modern amenities.
I have seen too many naive, deluded young white women, with romantic notions of African adventure and what not, get married to Africans aand mover over, without really knowing what it entails, only for the marriage to break down when faced with the harsh realities of life there later.
But hey, whatever happens she'd have had an exciting adventure I suppose, and gotten this bug out of her system. After all, with the very high divorce rate in the UK, she couldn't do that much worse as far as her chances of divorce are concerned I would imagine.

I'd like to mail this gal an envelope, to be opened a decade from now.
Inside will be a piece of paper with the words, "And I gave you the best years of my life!"
Read 'em and weep, kid.
