Slowly, but quite surely, I am learning to detest these people.
Thanks for the ping.
This group is going to get the EYE of Obama on it, remember the Eye of Sauron in Lord of the Rings?
Same thing here, frankly I have been neutral on discussing this for obvious reasons.
But I can say this, it has struck a nerve big time.
Popcorn time people.
The FBI has not released the letters. The bureau said they contain no direct threat but asserted that their implied threat to governors could serve to spark lone-wolf violence. In response, several states increased capitol security Friday.
Hmmm... No direct threat. But an implied threat. I'm curious to see what they consider an implied threat.
Not a single USSC justice was shot at during that period.
A agree with these things, so I guess that makes me a whacko. So be it.
Right on! I look at my being a citizen of the USA as to whether I am a ‘Plato’ citizen or whether I am a ‘private’ citizen?

NO .. No Popcorn ..Obammy’s Brownshirts may mistake it for gunfire and send the SEIU to Investigate.
Apparently, The GuardianS is but a sole Guardian. From Mother Jones:
“Sorry to disappoint. What the AP didn’t tell you is: The Guardians of the Free Republics are just a Web cover for a single unhinged Silicon Valley dude who isn’t even American-born. It’s amazing what a simple “Whois” Internet domain search will turn up. A full report and video follow the jump.
Turns out goftr.com and guardiansofthefreerepublics.com are registered to one Clive Boustred of Soquel, Californiaa British-educated former South African soldier with an apparent knack for “anti-terrorist warfare,” computer consulting, and conspiracy theorizing. The sitesand the “group”appear not to have existed before he registered them, about two months ago.”
parsy, who says this is interesting

Thanks Parsy for adding salient points of the article... clicking on MotherJones, to me is about the same as buying a WEEKLY WORLD NEWS from the Grocery store.
You’re welcome. I was reading down in the comments and Guardian dude himself gets involved and gives a couple of links.

parsy, who is fascinated
Previous poster mentioned it..
This group sounds a lot like a Ron Paul/Alex Jones FAN CLUB
They are wackjobs. Go to their web site. Makes no sense.
I have also seen the same commentary before. They are a type of Libertarian/Bircher sort of group. You can't get rid of them and they are a right wing group..
This country was created from a anarchist base and they represent that end of the political right. You can choose to ignore them, call them whacko or whatever, but they are quite comfortable with the label so you do them no harm. They wanted some attention and they got it.
The thing is..........I have become disillusioned with the belief that "All we need to do is take back the Congress and the White House and everything will be OK.....again.... baloney."
Everyday that goes by, I become more and more convinced that any fix requires the uprooting and total destruction of our current regulatory law and government structure in order to fix it and return it to it's rightful owners.
It seems to me that after having worked a good part of my life to achieve what we finally had achieved in 2004, only to lose it because the Republican Party coalition could not find any consensus on anything, I came to the uncomfortable conclusion that we can't stop this decline, much less reverse it.
So.....call them wackos....whatever.....It matters not. At the end of this fight. we will either lose and be under the thumb of tyranny, or DC will no longer be the Capitol of the entire US and civil war will be well under way.
This is why their ideas of going at this from the State level and reimposing the lost Federalism that created the original Constitution may just be the right path to fix this.
This is why I cannot bring myself to criticize them. They may be the only people with the right fix at the right time.
Let me be clear. I am calling them wackos because their web site makes absolutely no sense. They speak in mumbo jumbo and I have no time or patience for people like that. If a group proposes secession or other means of changing our government I might disagree with them on tactics I don’t think of them as wackos.
