President Dmitry Medvedev called on Thursday for the introduction of "brutal" measures against terrorists during a surprise visit to Dagestan, where a new car bombing killed two people.
The Federal Security Service announced that it had identified the organizers of two terrorist attacks that killed at least 49 people this week in Moscow and the Dagestani town of Kizlyar.
"We have twisted off the heads of the most odious bandits, but it looks like this is not enough," Medvedev told a meeting of leaders from the restive North Caucasus republics in Makhachkala.
"Perhaps the list of measures — and not only for our country, but in general — should be broadened to become not only more effective but also harsher and, if you wish, more brutal to prevent terrorist attacks," he said.

Medvedev is certainly talking the right talk- we’ll needless to say see what happens from here as far as action.
The only real way to deal with terrorists is to scare the heck the heck out of them. Vlad the Impaler didn’t use kid gloves to scare away the Turks back in the 14th Century and had a good deal of success.
If Moscow really were serious about fighting islamic terrorists, then it would stop making deals with and protecting Iran.
Remember, to the bolsheviks and romanovs, the people were expendable. Why should we expect the neo-bolsheviks running Russia to think differently?
Russia, which is home to far mor Mohammedans than is the USA will take longer to succumb because they are actively fighting the menace while the USA is promoting it at home. Russia is destined to lose the fight eventually because of demographic realities. The Great Russian population is not replacing itself.
Putin and Company are more like the Romanovs than the Bolsheviks.
The Bolsheviks were driven by ideology.
With Putin’s crowd, it’s all about money and nationalism.
The demography in Russia is not much better than in Western Europe vis-a-vis the mohammedans.
Russia’s population has decreased 20% since the end of WWII, much of it through emigration, but MOST of it through plummeting birth rates. Meanwhile, the mohammedan population is skyrockeiting in the Russian Federation and the former Soviet states that surround it. Mohammedans now count for more than 10% of the population in Russia.
I think the games Putin is playing with useful idiots like Amadi-jihad and Hizbollah is to keep his mortal enemies as close to him as possible. Makes it all the easier to drive the knife up under the ribs if it becomes necessary.
Meanwhile, if you are identified as an enemy of the Russian Federation, regardless of your ancestry or religious proclivities, you will probably die during interrogation, if they take you alive. In Russia, “spilling your guts” during interrogation has a very different meaning than it does here in the States.

More precisely, I think, continually high abortion rates. More children are aborted than born there.
Whatever else you can say about them, the Russians know how to get this kind of job done.
They leveled Chechnya’s cities long before Beslan. The one thing the Russians do not lack is brutality.
Russia has grown in population because Russians in the former Soviet state have moved home—they are not welcome in the nations that were cut from the old Soviet Empire. As for Iran, why bother when they know the USA or Israel will do their job for them. Russians are the ultimate opportunists. As for the Islamic peoples in Russia—they will pay a heavy price for these bombings. The population of Siberia will rise sharply.

Believe me, the Russians are not all talk. They hunted down and killed every single one of the terrorists that they suspected were even remotely connected with the Beslan elementary school massacre.
The Spetznaz even wiped out an entire family; men, women, children, dogs, cats. Amnesty International filed charges at the Hague against the Russian officer in command of the operation, and he was orderd by the International Court of Justice to answer charges. He flatly refused and sent a one-word response. “We heard a shot.”
It would be stupid for the Russians to detonate nuclear weapons so close to home as Chechnya, that would literally backfire on them with the fallout.
However, there wasn’t much left of Chechnya when they were done with it, anyway. They conducted a scorched earth, one-sided war in which they ground Chechnya into rubble without so much as a whimper of opprobrium from the Euroweenie or American press.
I was in Russia in January of 2002. The Americans were bombing Afghanistan. They were even using 500 lb “inert bombs”, just big blocks of cement, so they wouldn’t cause any collateral damage. But on the European TV stations, all the newsies were wringing their hands about the barbaric Americans and the savagery being wrought upon poor little Afganistan.
Then I watched an episode of a Russian documentary about the war in Chechny on one of the local Russian TV stations. In this particular segment, they showed the utter destruction of a city.
First, the city was surrounded by tanks, artillery, and infantry. Then it was leafleted by air. Everybody was given 48 hours to report for relocation to refugee camps. All were required to go through checkpoint processing. Checkpoint evaders would be shot on sight.
After the 48 hours were up, the Russian forces commenced with indiscriminate aerial bombing and artillery fire. Everything was destroyed. Factories, apartment buildings, schools, hospitals, churches, mosques, everything. Then came the tanks and infantry for door-to-door mop-up, followed by giant armored earth moving equipment to bulldoze everything to rubble.
Then they were off to the next town.
Oh, there was no “Marshall Plan” for Chechnya, either.
Not one word from the bedwetters in Denmark and Holland about the barbaric savagery taking place just a few hundred miles away from them.

The Bolsheviks hid their thirst for power and control behind Marxist idealism. The Romanovs hid their thirst for power and control behind tradition and Russian Orthodoxy. For both groups, the people are simply disposable servants of a government run by a closed clique of elitists (members of the aristocracy before 1917 or members of the Communist Party after 1917) Remember, in the end, the pigs became indistinguishable from the Joneses (Animal Farm reference).
They have worse than Marshall plan for Chechnya. It is all living for Russian taxpayers’ money now.
Before 1990s a muslim Chechen population or ‘natives’ was not involved in any activities other than copulating and collecting food stamps. The reason is because an idea of working is insulting for a Chechen. ‘Chaban’ or shepherd which is a single natural historical occupation other than robbing or collecting food stamps is considered an insulting term there. At the same time due to socialist policy of USSR which is pretty same as democrats’ toward minoroties they had a green light to all the benefits including health care, univercities etc. One day they got an idea they are ‘exploited’ by Russians and started to massmurder their working Christian and Jewish population ‘stealing their Chechen wealth’. Pretty same as US racial riots back to 60s but way more intense. They killed people to take houses, cars, watches to ‘restore justice’.The difference is Chechen muslims are typically more violent than American ghetto population. Another factor is a vast stockpiles of available heavy weapons in post-Cold War Soviet-block where an assault rifles and RPGs were considered as standard school gym equipment to teach children ‘withstand capitalist agresion’.
It turned into a bloody war with federal troops. The First one was lost by the libs in Kremlin withdrawing troops under eurotrash humanitarian criticism giving muzzies de-facto independence. Those mizzies soon recognized they won’t have their food stamps as soon as they exterminated their working Christian population so they started gang wars with each other, deleloped an idea of Pan-Caucasian Islamic Haliphate to take money from Saudi AQ for the project etc. At 1999 they started explosions in Moscow and attacked neighbouring Russian regions to incorporate them into their Islamic state. This time Russians returned back with Second War ruining literally everything there killing almost all known rebel public figures through the last decade.
The problem is now they have their puppet there who is actually a thug by that same food stamps, freee health care and government paid housing. Chechens still sitting on their butts or copulating. There are still a surplus of young men who thinks they are too cool for just food stamps and cheap government housing but don’t see the problem in their unwillingness to study and work but blames working people or ‘infidels’. They have a lot of free time and their brains washed by Wahabi Saudis from AQ at mosques built for Russian money so they are sending their whores to blow things who are seeking to clean their honour from lost virginity. Same ghetto problem Israel has with their muzzies.
