Crist’s endorsement gave McCain Florida & the nomination (though most people here wouldn’t have been happier with Rudy or Mitt)

Mixed feelings about Rude. He runs for president, which he had little chance of winning because of his NY lib, Republican credentials. But he won’t run for governor or senator, where a win would be a big win for the Republican party. Still, he wants to be a player, but not where he could do the most good.
Go back to consulting, Rudy.

Giuliani aides were visibly upset Saturday at the news that the popular Florida governor would be backing McCain.
Giuliani campaign sources said Crist pledged his endorsement to Giuliani in the early fall, when McCains campaign appeared dead and Giuliani was leading the state by double digits. But at the time, McCain supporters leaned on Crist to hold back and wait until after the New Hampshire primary.http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2008/01/26/612633.aspx

That’s it — if Giuliani endorses Rubio, that should be the kiss of death for Rubio, that taints Rubio, all conservatives should stay home and not vote in either the primary or the November election.

Rudy might be big in helping transplanted New Yorkers (there are MANY here in Florida) vote for Marco.
But in my book, Rudy ain’t that big.

Go Rubio. Thanks Rudy - now endorse JD!

Why is this supposed to make me feel better about Rubio? It only makes me suspect that Rubio is selling out to the RINO RNC!

Oooooh, now that the race is already over. If Giuliani wanted payback, he would have endorsed Rubio when it mattered.
