Kindergarten teacher: Woods lied about school race incident (says Tiger lied about racial abuse)
The New York Post ^ | April 2, 2010 | NY Post Staff

(edit)

In the book, the story Tiger told includes the tale of when he was beaten down in the playground by a group of racist white kids.

"I became aware of my racial identity on my first day of school, on my first day of kindergarten. A group of sixth graders tied me to a tree, spray-painted the word 'n-----' on me, and threw rocks at me. That was my first day of school. And the teacher really didn't do much of anything," according to the book.

Decker said she has decided to address the issue five days after the book was released because she was not able to "get through to" Woods.

"I want a public apology and a private apology," she said.

Decker, who is also mentioned in a video about Tiger's life, said she's not looking for any money from Woods.

The retired teacher also said there was no way older students could ever enter the area where the kindergarten kids played.

"Teachers do very hard work. ... It is unfair to get this in return," said Allred, who does not plan to file a lawsuit in regards to the incident.

In addition, the former principal of the Cerritos Elementary School, in Cypress, Calif., where Tiger attended, said he has no knowledge of the incident.

A parent, Linda DaViega, who was always around the school at that time period, also said she has never heard of such an incident happening.

"...the teacher did wait 5 years after the book was published..."

The book just came out.

The book just came out.

You may be thinking of a different book than what's being referred to in this article.  The video at the New York Post page makes things more clear than the article does, in that Gloria Allred holds up a copy of the book in question.

In our schools, kindergarteners, have their own play area as well as separate activity times from the bigger kids. I agree with the teacher....this didn’t happen.

Besides that, his father was military and there’s no way he took that quietly.

Whatever, the teacher did not strike me as the type to read this book.

She probably isn't, but she may have been alerted to statements made in the book by acquaintances.

I think that if famous people of the magnitude of Tiger Woods and Charles Barkeley tried to villify me in a book from a huge, international publisher, I would most likely hear about it one way or another either from people I knew or from journalists fact-checking the story.

That was my first thought, in Texas I was in 5th grade when integration started, we would never have done anything like this and nothing like this occurred at our school, and that had to be 20 years, almost an entire generation before Tiger.

The article says it came out in 2005. I think there is an error in the article where it reads “5 days” instead of “5 years”.

Actually, it sounds like it was written by Bill Ayers.

The book "Who's Afraid of a Large Black Man?" was written by Charles Barkley AND the Washington Post's house race-baiter, Michael Wilbon.

One of these two is a professional writer.

Which one do you think really wrote the book?

Perhaps this unlikely story was cooked up by Tiger Woods, but I wonder if it is really Michael Wilton's work.

All great questions, and hopefully the answers will be forthcoming. I’m hesitant to hold my breath, however, as the ‘religion’ of a hopelessly racist America is an unshakable part of the Left’s sick foundation to their entirely flawed worldview. The notion of a middle-class white woman being able to publicly refute AND gain an apology for race-based lies from a deified, astronomically wealthy and until recently beloved black man would be quite an event indeed....an event that I doubt the Left wants to have happen. It will be quite interesting to see if this matter gets swept under the rug.

"Charles Barkley was arrested for DUI in Arizona early this morning after telling cops he ran a stop sign because he was in a hurry to get some oral sex.

The officer who wrote the report said:

He told me that he ran the stop sign because he was in a hurry to pick up the girl I saw get in the passenger seat.”

“He asked me to admit that she was ‘hot.’ He asked me, ‘You want the truth?’ When I told him I did he said, ‘I was gonna drive around the corner and get a b**w job. He then explained that she had given him a ‘blow job’ one week earlier and said it was the best one he had ever had in his life.”

The report says when Barkley was taken to the station, he told one of the employees:

“I’ll tattoo my name on your ass” if he helped “get him out of the DUI.” According to the report, “He laughed and then quickly corrected himself and said, ‘I’ll tattoo your name on my ass’ and then laughed again.”

I went to public school in California in the 1970s ... I guess I’m about 10 years older than Woods? We had black, white, Mexican, Filipino, Chinese, Indian students. There were gang fights in the junior high (I know my mother was thinking of sending my brother to private school, before we moved), but honestly ... spray-painting a kindergartner? Hitting him with rocks? And his parents didn’t notice and object, leaving *written documentation* including probably medical records? No way in the world.
