The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a letter sent to Gov. Rick Perry as part of what's reported to be a nationwide effort by an anti-government group.
The Associated Press reported that it obtained an internal intelligence note by the FBI and Department of Homeland Security saying that as of Wednesday, more than 30 governors had received letters saying if they don't leave office within three days they will be removed...
DPS spokeswoman Tela Mange said, "The governor did receive one of those letters, and the DPS has opened a criminal investigation."
The agency isn't discussing the letter further, Mange said...

PS the Michigan Militia figures are now being IDed as Democrat voters.
Do you mean Michigan Militia or the Hutaree Group? There is a whopping big difference.
Taxing Teddy Strickland in OH and other dem governors also got the letter.
Yeah the radicals in the Dummie party are starting a psyops campaign.
Ah memories of Richard Nixons CREEP org
Gee what I see is increasing justification for applying federal force upon those dangerous bitter christian right wingers.
Watch the media drop this like a hot potato.
Sounds like this is Obama’s, Union Thugs..haven’t these morons been told Don’t Mess With Texas..
See, Sarah Palin was way ahead of the curve.
Will be interesting to see who’s behind this, if we ever find out.
This is a Ron Paul-Alex Jones type group.
That particular website was registered a month ago. Another site is called CopperCards, which is the same people.
Its a Ron Paul-Alex Jones type group.
So far, in the context of the reporting, I have yet to see any wording that is “criminal”.
Could it be that they are implying a legal removal from office? I’d like to see the letter.
I, too, am quite frustrated with my “governor” serving the interests of the federal government and not the interests of the citizens of this state.
We already know.
CopperCards... an Alex Jones-Ron Paul type group
...and they’re called Guardians of the Free Republics.

Sue, Jim, sue them.
The organization itself is not named in the article, only those under indictment

Most indicted members of militia group are voters...(Dem)
That registered that a month ago.
Another site by the same people is CopperCards, they have stuff about Chemtrails and crap.
Thanks. Those named in the article are tied to Hutaree, not the Michigan Militia, which vehemently denies any ties to Hutaree. For the record, of those indicted, only one person’s party affiliation was known and that person was a registered democrat.
...and I'm just finding out now...why am I always the last to find out about the latest nut-kookery!
lol
Hutaree group top of the news now.
Napolitano... with a few Rathers thrown in.
