I can already see graduates of Wall Street High taking over schools throgh hostile takeovers and then the graduates of Microsoft High School competing with students from Apple High School.
Well we at Skittles High are above that sort of thing.
I can see why business would want to do this. For years now, business can’t find qualified employees. Hell, most applicants can’t even fill out an application, let alone do the job required. They aren’t talking about just big business like Microsoft, it’s all business. This is the reason a lot of electronics companies are moving out of California. You can no longer locate qualified employees.
Interesting....
If they have to take everyone it will never work. That is why private and parochial schools often seem to be doing better than the public schools since they can be selective about their students. It’s the raw materials. You can’t build a ship with bad steel, well you can but it usually falls apart and sinks.
This is in no way going to prevent the liberals from advancing their agenda. Microsoft, Apple and WS seem to be big liberal strongholds.
The politicians are the problem along with parent’s that won’t get involved except to complain when their little star athlete can’t play because of his grades.
he sells the skyway
he sells parking meters
he sells midway airport ( or is trying to)
he sell naming rights to White Sox park
he sells naming rights to Chicago Stadium
I think having a business sponsor a school could be a good idea.
I don’t see why not. It would be just another form of private school, one ran by a corporation on a large scale.
