Limbaugh responds to Obama: 'Never in my life have I seen a regime like this'
The Washington Examiner ^ | April 2, 2010 | By Byron York

Posted on 04/02/2010 7:22:47 AM PDT by MaestroLC

In his new interview with CBS, President Obama refers to the "troublesome" talk and "vitriol" of Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck. "Keep in mind that there have been periods in American history where this kind of vitriol comes out," Obama says. "It happens often when you've got an economy that is making people more anxious, and people are feeling like there is a lot of change that needs to take place. But that's not the vast majority of Americans. I think the vast majority of Americans know that we're trying hard, that I want what's best for the country."

I asked Limbaugh what he thought about the president's comments. His program's popularity is undeniably soaring now, but has it risen and fallen with economic anxiety -- that is, was he less popular during times of economic security and more popular in times of economic worries? Since Limbaugh has been broadcasting nationally for more than 20 years, there ought to be some sort of pattern, if what Obama says is accurate.

"I have yet to have a down year at the EIB Network," Limbaugh responds. "I and most Americans do not believe President Obama is trying to do what's best for the country. Never in my life have I seen a regime like this, governing against the will of the people, purposely. I have never seen the media so supportive of a regime amassing so much power. And I have never known as many people who literally fear for the future of the country."

The point, Limbaugh says, is not that listeners are feeling anxiety about the economy, although many undoubtedly are. It's that they are feeling anxiety about the Obama agenda.

What if the Democrats still win in November? We can’t expect much of the population to do much about it

Count on two things:1)there will be no 2012 elections and 2)this will not end peacefully.

Whether it is a civil war or a split in physical arrangement of the USA, there will be change.

Democrat Communists are not the majority in this country. And they know it.

So we must be vigilant to make sure they do not rig this election.

And if the Democrats win, we haven't made the most of these remaining 7 months.Shame on us.

IF, IF OBAMA “TRIES TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THOSE PESKY AND INCONVENIENT ELECTIONS” WE AS A NATION HAD BETTER RISE UP EN MASSE AND TAKE A STAND AGAINST THSI SOCIALIST ADMINISTRATION. TALK IS CHEAP, AND LIKE OUR FOREFATHERS AND THE PATRIOTS OF THEIR TIME, WE PATRIOTS HAD BETTER GET OFF OUR BUTTS, PUT OUR BOOTS ON THE GROUND AND TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACK. THERE COMES A TIME WHEN YOU MUST MAKE A CHOICE, TAKE A STAND AND ACT! THE ALTERNATIVE IS THE LOSS OF OUR GREAT COUNTRY TO SOCIALISM...WHICH DO YOU CHOOSE??

Personally the Nov elections are not going to change a thing I’m afraid.

Last year was the time to be afraid. This year is the time to take back our country. Seven months remain. Make the most of them.

we might if we can define this election as “Repeal the Obama Tax”.

Define healthcare as the Obama Tax and we win because it nationalizes the issue and defines it in a simple term.

Democrat = Tax

Republicans = no tax FOR EVERYONE

He used the ole alinsky Hitler routine by saying “some FOLKS think that I wasn’t born in the United States”...

The reporter did NOT follow up and ask him to release his BC or show proof to hush this.

Sounds like you’re a lot older than Rush is. He and I are about the same age. I’ve heard about that Nazi and that Communist, but both were dead before I was born. I think the same is true for Rush and even if one allows a year or two, how can he say he ‘saw’ the regimes if he was one or two years old?

Imagine the circumstances it would take to allow impeachment to happen in Nancy's House!   It would have to horrific, and something would have to dislodge her fist from their necks. We've pretty well seen melted phone lines and fear of not being re-elected have no significant effect.

Nonetheless, how many anti-Constitutional things has Barry already unleashed to the ho-hums of all dim Congresscritters. I'm sure a turn toward a successful impeachment vote would come only at tremendous expense to American blood and treasure.

Still, the premise doesn't seem implausible.

Rush has always echoed the basic sentiments of a large number of us citizens of the USA. Happily he has the organization that can research the data and deliver the facts-facts that more often than not prove our opinions to be accurate.

Thanks Rush, for all that you do for us.

And what we call “thugs” they now call “social justice”...

This is the way Obama thinks “co-operation” comes about. The Chicago way....

Her conclusion was not practical ... ‘leave it all and walk away and go to a hidden location and survive by each doing a necessary function, that is a needful part of the whole."

There are husbands, wives, children of all ages, and of course, how can we go with nothing? Money without value? skills only bartered with one another. I have trouble imagining how this could really work.

Objectivism? Seems too selfish. Freedom, Respect and agreement is hard to hold on to, as we have seen. Being a mountain man in a cave with a family is ditto.

Now that we have Google earth, Satellites, etc. How to prepare for more than a few months at best. I once thought maybe in the hollows of the Appalachia area might work. No longer believe it. So?

It is really our children, grandchildren that I fear for their future ahead.

God help us in our day, In Jesus name, amen./

People who quietly, consistantly, resist unjust laws succeed. We must put feet to our beliefs.

We owe those who went before us, who did the hard things; to resist and insist that the government listen to us.

He flew 15 hours out and 17 hours back (against the wind). Multiplying that by the speed of his airplane (.885 of mach), I calculate New Zealand.

Obama is such an effing idiot. No, Jackass-in-Chief, the "vast majority of Americans" know that you want to ruin this country for the sake of a small minority - your union overlords.

But, we must do so peacefully. Obama WANTS us to get violent. He is trying to provoke such a scenerio. Then he can impose marshal law, and shut down elections....it is a trick we must not fall for.

We must protest, and break unjust laws. Peaceful civil disobedience is the way we must go forward at the moment. Be willing to speak up at all times and get arrested. Be willing to give up your money and property and reputation for liberty. Sit in and strike. Federal employees refuse to do what is unconstiutional and clog the courts with lawsuits. They can not arrest us all. They can not fire us all. We need to hurt them, by not going along. Shut them down. Peacefully.

I agree. When that passed and nothing happened, they know the sky is the limit. I don’t think confiscating 401K’s would even do it. The dumbing down is complete. Yuri Bezmenov lived it. He sees it what has happened and is happening.

Obama? BFD.

He lives in the margin. Presidents rule by the consent of the governed.

WE DO NOT CONSENT.

I am the troublesome citizen. Let’s get the t-shirts.

Dems have the profanity t-shirt, lets support Rush and tell the administration that it isn’t Rush they should fear, but US: “I am the troublesome”
