CARACAS Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin is set to meet the presidents of Venezuela and Bolivia in Caracas Friday to sign military and energy deals that broaden Russia's footprint in Latin America.
Putin's first visit to Venezuela underscores Russia's deepening relations with Latin America's leading leftist regime, and serves as doorway to a region long considered the US back yard.

United Russias leaders even convened a special meeting this month with senior Chinese Communist Party officials to hear firsthand how they wield power. ..."

Aside from natural gas and oil, land-locked Bolivia has 50% of the worlds’ lithium mines, and is Chinas’ main suppier. Bolivia is Marxist, revolutionary, and and enemy of the US. It is arming its five borders with Cuban and Venezuelan help so that it can take on Peru or Chile, or both to reclaim a seaport that was lost in the 1880s, and exert pressure on the other three neighbors as well.
