HE let out a tiny whimper that only his mother or father could soothe: this is day-old baby Adam, who desperately needs his mum.

The precious baby boy, with tufts of hair and chubby cheeks, should be bringing much delight to his family this Easter.

Instead, the newborn will spend the long weekend at Wollongong Hospital after being dumped on a stranger's doorstep on the South Coast early yesterday morning, wrapped in just a thin bunny-print rug.

There will be no shortage of cuddles and kisses for the gorgeous baby, with nursing staff already doting on him and showering him with love.

WHoever gets him will be his real parents. Real parents don’t have to be biological parents.

Good luck to Adam! He has already had much good luck, despite not having the best birth parents.

He’s alive and healthy, and will find a loving home - given the horrible alternative his mother might have chosen, this isn’t a bad result.

Is it just me, or does he look like Winston Churchill?
Sweet baby, may your life be as consequential.

Sadly, the vast majority of babies look like Churchill or Eisenhower...

CONGRATULATIONS!
How alert she is already, and so beautiful! That hair’s going to be a lot of fun.

She’s at the advanced age of 3 weeks now. :D
I had 4 brothers, 5 sons, twin grandsons and now...my little princess.

:)

Does she still have all that hair? Some babies lose it after birth...mine never did, though.

He most certainly does not need HIS mother -- since his mother left him on a doorstep -- but he needs A mother. And I hope he gets one quickly.

It is really important that we reunite this baby with his mother.

No, she left him on a doorstep for a reason. Thankfully, she didn't kill him, but gave him up so that someone could better take care of him. Giving him back to the birth mother would only expose him to danger.
