There is a bit of a disconnect between this post and your post 74. I think that is what has confused some people as to your views on this subject.
How so? I stated outright in Post 74 that despite feminist ridiculousness surrounding rape, conservatives should endeavor to be more sympathetic to actual rape victims.
Post 83 is simply a continuation of that thought (as that thought is the one that was quoted by the other poster) ... that imprudent behavior by a rape victim does not make her unworthy of sympathy. I continued the thought ecause of the statement (in response to my call for sympathy for actual rape victims) that he doesn’t give-a-damn about people who are suffering the consequences of stupid behavor (even if that consequence is actual rape).
If someone wasn’t raped (under the actual non-feminist definition of the term) then my call for sympathy for actual rape victims would not apply, and no sympathy is necessary. Like I said, regret does not a rape make ... but if an actual rape occurred, sympathy is warranted regardless of the imprudent behavior of the victim.
My statements were entirely consistent.
