And by the way, Cancun is fairly safe or no more dangerous than East L.A.
Watch where you are going and who you talk to.
I hope that kid pulls through, but chances are he had too much to drink and either fell or was beaten by other spring breakers. The cops in Mexico are probably more concerned about being beheaded than some drunken gringo.
Been there twice, will never go there again or any other place in Mexico for that matter.
Down here (Alabama Gulf Coast) it is not uncommon for partying spring breakers and other vacationers to fall from condo/hotel balconies. Just wondering if that is a possibility or not here.
I expect lots of Mexican bashing in this thread. But someone want to look into how many deadly beatings occured here in the US last night? My point is whether you are here there or anywhere, there are bad people and places. And most of this stuff happens when you are out drunk in the middle of the night. But hey let’s indict an entire country and people for something that rarely happens in Cancun but happens daily in Atlanta Chicago NY LA etc.

Apparently the guy was plastered out of his head and decided to sleep outside alone. Who in their right mind would do this with a nice cushy room upstairs?
Could have slipped even several times. Could have been assaulted. Could have smarted off drunk to the wrong people unable to defend himself, Shut the Hell up over there dammit!

He should have just gone upstairs and everything would have been fine.
His buddy should not have left him there drunk, sleeping outside, after midnight.
