As CNN’s general ratings free fall continues, and with no big celebrity deaths (or similar “talky” events) to drive ratings, Larry King Live had its worst quarter overall for average viewership in the show’s history, falling to an average of just 767,000 viewers for shows during the quarter. That’s down 9% from the previous quarter’s 840,000 viewers for shows during the quarter which was, at the time, the lowest ever.

“Larry King Live”? I thought these were repeats. He looks like he died years ago. His show certainly did so why should he be difficult and hang on?

I’m not knowledgeable on his past - but what you say certainly seems probable to me!
Larry has trouble attracting the coveted 15 to 87 year old age group.

King was busted for grand larceny IIRC, in the early eighties or late seventies. He’s on his seventh wife.

Among other things, reading from his notes he asked his guest if he was a heretic... pronouncing it huh-rett'-ick. He caught his mispronunciation and quickly said, "or heretic (correctly spoken this time), depending on how you pronounce it."
I can't watch the guy. It's too painful for my brain.
