This is not an April Fools joke. Sarah Palin will take her first stab at television hosting when she fronts a new Fox News series, Real American Stories, premiering Thursday April 1 at 10pmET.
Guests for the first show include country singer Toby Keith, rapper/actor LL Cool J and Jack Welch. Get excited.
The show will focus on a range of such stories including a Marine Medal of Honor recipient who gave his live to save his comrades. But also there will be the celebrity guests a very broad range of celebrity guests.

Switch to decaf Josh.
One thing you can't get round, she is far more popular now than she's ever been. So much for your constant parroting of the Plain Derangement Syndrome “she quit” talking point mantra.
Hasn't done you any good has it?
I remember back in 2009 after she resigned, when the PDS lunatics (that's you and your pals), were out in force here on FR, loudly proclaiming that she was “finished”. Since then, her power, her popularity and her strength have just kept hitting new highs, after having one of the best selling political biographies this country has ever seen.
..you mean details like those??
April 1 is THURSDAY....
I trust “condy” like I trusted “Colen”.
“Get excited” is editorializing as well. Snarky prick.
lol....
Sound like a 70s lounge group...
I can't remember the last time I turned on my TV...
She'd probably do better booking side show gigs at county carnivals...
I don’t see a problem.
As a businessman, if I were running for office, I’d want to advertise my beliefs, personality, etc.
I’d do that by shaking hands, going to events etc.
If possible I’d ALSO do it by getting PAID to do a television show where I would be able to get my points across on a routine basis in a way that even the president can’t- IE- The president can do a weekly radio address, bully pulpit, etc.... but Sarah has an opportunity here to be on television on a regular basis , interviewing people from all stripes and gaining mindshare while she collects a paycheck.
Providing she doesn’t sell out ( which I don;t get from her) , she has a pristine position right now.
She’ll run. And she’s doing it smart, and correctly- she can be a household name in 6 months with a TV show and keep people guessing about her candidacy -
I am a Palin fan, just seems to me like they are diminishing her creditibilty as a serious candidate for office. Just the way I see it.
I kind of agree with you on that.
lol
big mistake for Sarah. Biggggggggggggggg mistake.
Great move, when called on your lack of attention to detail fall back on a broad generality. Brilliant! Now, Specifically which of the celebrity guest would you characterize as vapid hollywood whatever you called them?
She has considerable strengths, unique to only her right now.
I want her to play up those strength's if she decides to run for President of the United States.
Right now, with FOX, IMHO, she is not because we already know she can do these kind of things. So, imo, she has decided not to run in 12.
Who gives a feces what they think?
Thats not what you said before.
This is what you said from your post # 77 and I quote:
“All of the men you mentioned were given vast amount of respect and good press before they ran for President. Whether they deserved it or not.”
I then pointed out to you(with proof) that Ronald Reagan was given no respect by any media back in 1980 when he started to run for president.
Now you claim , you are “concerned” because Sarah Palin is a woman with children and voters won't take her seriously?
Gimme a break!
What the heck has that got to do with anything? How many female governors do we have in this country today? Yet Sarah Palin managed to become one of the very few female governors in this country, with approval ratings of over 90% , no? The fact that she had kids never stopped her from being voted in as governor did it?
So, imo, she has decided not to run in 12.
Dream on!
You can think whatever you like, that doesn't make your thinking right. The anti-Palin bots have been hollering the "Palin is finished" meme since she resigned in July last year, and have been wrong every time. All that has happened is, she's just gone from strength to strength.
Joe, you misread me everytime. You want an argument when one is not at all necessary.
I am not anti-Palin at all, I posted that imo, she is not running because she would be doing other work besides Fox, I am just trying to read the tea-leaves...and I do think the media gave those men more respect in foreign policy because they are men. So imo, she would be working towards that theme and would be traveling overseas IF she was going to run.
I have also posted on this thread that no other Republican could beat Hussein.
So please, I am just trying to have a conversation..with opinions and ideas, and I am not trying to stump for another candidate at all.
