John McCain: Call in National Guard for borders

By KASIE HUNT | 3/30/10 2:25 PM EDT

Sen. John McCain wants to call in the cavalry to defend Arizona from illegal immigrants crossing the border from Mexico—and to shore up his own right flank.

McCain asked the Obama administration Monday to send National Guard troops to the border after a prominent Arizona rancher was found shot to death on his own property.

"I am asking you and the administration to immediately reconsider your position and send National Guard troops to our southern border region," McCain wrote in a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano. That is the “say anything to get elected” McCain talking. He won’t be the McCain that reports for duty in January.

Because he’s in up to his neck in a tough re-election.

If he is reelected, it will go away.

Gracias Juan Mc.

John McQueeg is really worried that that poor rancher's death will make Arizonans remember what a hypocritical lying, feckless, duplicitous prevaricator he is on social issues.

It’s a shame it took someone getting brutally murdered before he asked for the help. Wonder if he’s feeling a little heat, or dare we say “guilt” over trying to allow amnesty.

Probably to assist the illegals in crossing knowing that sorry sack of goat snot.

Funny how Johnnie Boy loves to fight with the conservatives but when it comes to him going up against the socialist, it’s kid gloves.
