“DEPORT. SEND PACKING. STOP EMPLOYING.”
Onyx, you’re a good person. I don’t understand why you can’t take Palin’s words for what they are. What part of this statement do you see where she supports deportation or workplace enforcement?
PALIN: . We - our policy - John McCain has been so clear with his policy and it makes a lot of sense too. We secure our borders first. But then with a comprehensive approach we must deal humanely with those who are here, and we must allow the steps to be taken to protect the families of those who are here, maybe as illegal immigrants today.....”
Palin: Well, the unfortunate thing of course about the raids is that it does affect the families involved here. Parents and children are separated and thats tragic.
Univision: To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?
Sarah Palin: I do because I understand why people would want to be in America.
Univision: As governor, how do you deal with them? Do you think they all should be deported?
Sarah Palin: There is no way that in the US we would roundup every illegal immigrant - there are about 12 million of the illegal immigrants - not only economically is that just an impossibility but thats not a humane way anyway to deal with the issue that we face with illegal immigration.”

Palin is articulate and smart. She should be able to articulate her postion in a few words. You did!
“DEPORT. SEND PACKING. STOP EMPLOYING.”
I am not wedded to Sarah Palin, but I like her best of all. I do, however, have a short list of very worthy others *in my head* in case she doesn’t run.

I am so tired of that univison interview, primarily because other interviews have since taken place, and they have been also posted here with links. I am not saying she did not believe what she said then nor I am saying she has completely changed her mind. I can only go by the limited words she has said on the subject.
For me, it comes down to this: Sarah Palin is not an elected office holder and she is not a declared candidate for any elected office.
Obama will likely try to jam “Immigration Reform” down our throats this year, before November “with amnesty” so my focus is aimed at the Republicans in the Senate and at the Senate democrats up for reelection. We have to stop it there.
I’m scared to death that immigration is going to be an issue long decided before Sarah Palin ever gets the chance to have any official input.
I hope she will come out blazing against amnesty, but thus far, “amnesty” has not been a Tea Party issue.
Once Obama brings it to the forefront, I suspect all hell to break loose and Sarah will have to speak out, because I think the Tea Party(s) will.
Our Republic will be gone forever if amnesty is granted.
I am confident Sarah Palin knows that.
