McCain and Palin: Reunited and Feeling Good ("I support his position on immigration")
Fox News ^ | 2010-03-27

Posted on 03/30/2010 8:46:15 AM PDT by rabscuttle385

(snip)

VAN SUSTEREN: Governor Palin, if you were vice president today, what would you be telling a President McCain about what to do about immigration, if anything?

PALIN: I support his position on immigration. It all comes down to securing the border. And he who has actually proposed some solutions, the Obama administration does not want to listen to Senator McCain or any other Republican, and that, of course, leads to a greater problem that we have in Washington, D.C. And it's that lack of the new administration's ability and enthusiasm for listening to those on the other side of the aisle who have some good solutions that they want considered.

Are you really this dense, or just act that way on the internet? No, she just said she supports McCain’s position, then went on to articulate that with her answers. McCain’s position was and is AMNESTY, as codified by McCain-Kennedy. Next you are going to tell me that Palin did not know of the ADS THAT MCCAIN/PALIN RAN ON SPANISH RADIO AND TV:

No.

You specifically said that Sarah endorsed McCain-Kennedy, which is something she never did.

Read your own words and don't blame it on me

Are YOU that idiotic or are you lying?

And they you try to worm your way out of it by saying Sarah's words in the univision interview, as mushy and twisted as they are, "codifies" the monstrosity that was McCain-Kennedy.

Unbelievable.

She agreed with McCain, the AUTHOR of McCain-Kennedy. She wants a pathway to citizenship. They ran ads bemoaning Obama’s lack of support for McCain-Kennedy and you pretend she says something entirely different? Snap out of it.

Then on Greta she says she agrees with McCain on immigration yet again.

Does she have to be helping illegals swim the Rio Grande before you open your eyes?

There is absolutely nothing conservative about supporting a full-blown liberal in a GOP primary when there is a credible conservative challenger with his hat in the ring.

This sub-literate post of yours has been refuted 3 or 4 times now...in FR Land there's a long-standing principle that the truth of an unanswered refutation is stipulated.

You can stop posting your nonsense now. Your credibility is shot to hell.

Pissant,

Those are from 2008, do you have anything more recent that actually states she was in support of McCain-Kennedy?

Pissant, that is not the same thing as Governor Palin agreeing with the monstrosity that is the McCain-Kennedy bill and you know it.

How about Thune?

Sure...Thune fits the bill of the Paulites and the Chuck Baldwin-supporting truther pigs running amok here...

The idea is to only offer support to Republican Senators or Governors with little national name recognition from small, conservative states (Jim DeMint, Scott Thune, Haley Barbour) or Republican Representatives with little national name recognition from large Democrat-leaning states who have no chance in hell of delivering that state's electoral votes (Duncan Hunter).

Sarah Palin is a national figure and doesn't fall into either category. She ran for vice president and everyone knows her.

Pawlenty, McDonnell and Christie must be labeled as RINOs, for example. They're from strategic states, and in the next election, given the GOP nominee, they could be in play for the Republicans.

Anyone pushing candidates from small states safely in the Republican column or from Republican districts in heavily Democrat-leaning states, while calling big-state, well-known, popular candidates RINOs, is, likely as not, a liberal troll.

All conservatives should view such posters with at least one jaundiced eyeball.

Hey, when you get around to adding something intelligent to the conversation, let me know. I’ll be glad to discuss it with you.

That should read "John Thune." "Scott Thunes" is a bass player who most famously worked with Frank Zappa.

John is a good conservative.

*Whew*

You just answered a lot of posts.

You have a bit more patience than I do, you even got Indylindy to finish a conversation, she normally goes off with feigned indignity after she gives her first few insults.

So you are only aware of the Oct. 2008 interviews, nothing from 2009?

A few of the more current comments from Sarah Palin
I have posted tens of dozens of times and the tools
ignore it or interpret a word here and there and mould it
into what they what to believe.

Both the PaulBots and the unwitting tools of the anti war
PaulBots are not going to support Sarah Palin because
she supports the war against the IslamOfascists and the
PaulBots can’t afford for Sarah to beat Obama in 2012
so the Palin bashing continues.

Palin expands her position on Illegal Immigration

Palin: we need to close the borders. They are called illegal aliens for a reason and if they are not going to follow the rules they should not be in our country.

It’s pretty simple I ratched that one down to the simple answer because its an easier answer than some politicians want it to make it be. you close the borders.
You get more agressive about cracking down on the illegal aliens and we take it serious what our border patrol officers are trying to do

December 2009

Lars Larson radio talk show

LARS: The amnesty proposal that was defeated in Congress — in your view, was that amnesty for illegals and would you back amnesty for a path to citizenship, as the current president calls it?

SARAH PALIN: No, I’m not for amnesty. Let’s ratchet this down quite simply to remember what we’re referring to. Illegal aliens are called “illegal” for a reason. We need to secure our borders and I am not for amnesty.

And there are humane ways to deal with the 11-13 million illegal aliens who are in our country right now, but if they’re not going to follow the rules, they need to get out.

Just like you dance around believing Hunter will run for Pres in 12.

Wishing doesn’t make it so.

I don’t know if he will or not. I hope he does. And I asked him point blank if he was. If not, then I’ll support the next guy in line that supports my views the closest. If that is Palin, so be it.
