VAN SUSTEREN: Governor Palin, if you were vice president today, what would you be telling a President McCain about what to do about immigration, if anything?
PALIN: I support his position on immigration. It all comes down to securing the border. And he who has actually proposed some solutions, the Obama administration does not want to listen to Senator McCain or any other Republican, and that, of course, leads to a greater problem that we have in Washington, D.C. And it's that lack of the new administration's ability and enthusiasm for listening to those on the other side of the aisle who have some good solutions that they want considered.

John McCain does not support amnesty and believes that we should not reward lawbreakers. Surely you realize that is the biggest lie ever told. And McCain has the NERVE to put it on his website. So much for Palins claiming how honest Mccain is.
I said it was his REELECTION YEAR POSITION. What do you think that means?
Unbelievable.
Amen.
I like Palin, and I've cut her some slack for what she's doing in Arizona. But like a lot of people, this has raised an alarm flag for me.
And I do notice that while she has been pretty clear about wanting to secure the border, she has also equivocated a bit about amnesty. Before she's ready for prime time she is going to have to get past that, and be able to clearly articulate her position and be ready to take the pounding that comes with it.
She wants a humane answer. I agree. There is nothing inhumane about expecting people to go home to their home country. The most humane answer I can come up with is also the simplest. Secure the border. Enforce the law. Let the chips fall.
Supporting amnesty would certainly be one of those "unpopular decisions" you seem to respect.
It’s a question you could answer. And if not, who do you support now. I’d rather you answer it straight up, and that’s a simple request.
If you run for the presidency doesn’t that assume that you endorse yourself as the best candidate? After he dropped he did endorse Huckabee, which infuriated me, because I don’t trust him. As for WHY he endorsed Huckabee its quite simple:
Huckabee adopted Hunter’s position on China. No one else came close.
Huckabee was a fellow supporter of the FairTax. No one else was.
And Huckabee adopted Hunter’s positions on the border fence and NO AMNESTY of any kind.
So why would he endorse McCain or Romney instead again??
Even JD Hayworth understands her support.
Calling rintense for "thee post."
I'm not happy about it, but you're not going to define her for it. She is bigger than her former runningmate...LOL.
Palin’s toast now. Find another lover, buddy
I just pinged you!
LOL. Thanks, you were here all along.
Class act, that JD Hayworth!!!
HAR!
Closer to 30 or 40 million and the rules are they need to get the hell out.
I’ve lost my respect for Sara Palin. I will not support her any more.
I was a fan of Sarah Palin. No more!
It’s not really a contrast, what was posted now. Sarah says ‘no’ and ‘no’ she doesn’t support amnesty. That’s all I can show you. But I’m sure she’ll address this fracas soon. She always does.
He isn't giving her whole history of quotes, and as I pointed out even this time, he underlined areas for his divisive benefit, forgetting the part where she says to secure the border.
Fwiw, I admire Reagan the most of any political figure on the right, and Ron Paul cut off one of the legs of what Reagan called the three legged stool and shortened the other two, and I dislike that intensely.
Sure you were.....LOL.
...LARS: The amnesty proposal that was defeated in Congress in your view, was that amnesty for illegals and would you back amnesty for a path to citizenship, as the current president calls it?
SARAH PALIN: No, Im not for amnesty. Lets ratchet this down quite simply to remember what were referring to. Illegal aliens are called illegal for a reason. We need to secure our borders and I am not for amnesty. And there are humane ways to deal with the 11-13 million illegal aliens who are in our country right now, but if theyre not going to follow the rules, they need to get out.
I don’t trust Huckabee. But when you are left with two exceptional liars, and one middling one, I guess you go with the middling one, if you feel the need to endorse.
Funny thing though. After McCain had wrapped up the nomination I recall McCain and Romney both pushing TARP down America’s throat while Huckabee took the Hunter position of “hell f’n no”
Thanks for the quick response L-Shark, I have to head out for a little while but will be back later to answer in more detail, hope you’re having a good Monday.
