Sorry to disagree, but I have helped several friends work on some of their “modern” homes and I was appalled. From the crappy materials to the crappy building practices, newer homes are a disgrace. And I am talking about homes that sold for $225K and up.

While the idiots in Washington certainly deserve blame, they didn't put in the glued-together paste board crap that is in newer homes.
