Joe the Plumber won't endorse Hayworth
The Hill ^ | 03/29/2010 | Sean J. Miller

Declining to endorse in the Arizona Senate GOP primary, Joe the Plumber said he doesn't want to "create a lot of drama."

Samuel "Joe" Wurzelbacher was in Phoenix this weekend for a pair of anti-tax rallies at the state Capitol. He overlapped on both occasions with J.D. Hayworth, McCain's primary opponent, but he didn't endorse the former congressman.

We need to replace Joe the Plumber with Charlie the Electrician.

Hey, we hung out with Tito the Builder for awhile in DC on 3/20/10! ;-)

NICE guy and very conservative.

I met Joe at CPAC last year. He is a good guy and well informed on the issues, including immigration. I wish he had endorsed JD. McCain must be defeated.

I like the guy. And I agree with him on McCain.

I’m curious why he didn’t take the next step and promote Hayworth. I’m not from Arizona, so I don’t know Hayworth very well, but I can’t believe he could possibly be any worse than McCain. That seems an impossibility.

He won’t Embarass SARAH

He’ll be on tour with her this year and one senate seat isn’t going to mess up his plans. He’s smart.

JD will win by default. By November, McCain will be down 10-15 points.

We will see very soon after both houses get back to work after Easter. The agenda is rumored to be Amnesty for Illegals right off the bat.

It will be more than interesting to watch what McNasty does. I cannot imagine what is going through his little pea brain after all the Tea Party hypocrisy he just spewed to millions of Nevada and watching Arizona voters.

In addition to that, his behavior will also have an effect on Sarah Palin’s numbers. Especially if they ramrod Amnesty through the same way they did Health Care.

And we don’t know what Palin’s position is on amnesty. McCain has said that he is against the proposed amnesty bill because it does not contain a guest worker program. The last thing McCain wants is a vote on the issue prior to the primary.

I think ol' Joe is a good guy, and all of that...good conservative, but what in God's name gives him all this clout in candidate endorsements?

I mean, just because it was Joe who happened to be standing there when obama slipped and divulged his "redistribution" leanings doesn't make Joe the hero, he is a victim of circumstance.

Without a teleprompter, obama could have slipped up anywhere and said those things.

I really don't think "Joe's" blessing is going to make the difference one way or another.

just another guy on the gravy train because of an accidental meeting

Thank you. I have often wondered why he is even in the news let alone why anyone here would even care who he would support. Don't think I look to him for political advice.

Well, perhaps better that way. ..he could say that however; that he is not ‘going public’. But in truth, it does not matter.

I do not care... he is a plumber... I do my own plumbing. Joe may be a good guy but his claim to fame is asking a direct question to the kenyan and getting him to admit to being a commie... more or less. Joe may be a great guy but his opinion means little to me... on any subject.

What would you do if you were Joe the plumber? He was thrust into the limelight one afternoon. Here’s a guy, out in his yard, and your records are investigated more thoroughly than presidential contender. Don’t blame him for his undecided view, blame the people, the press and the machine. He never asked to be on the gravy train. Would you hop aboard? I would, I’d want to bank as much cash now, before the commies fully implement their 5 year plan. He’s not an expert, yet his views are portrayed by the MSM as an authority. He’s just one of us.

No. I have a life I worked hard for.

I'll bet some of the people trashing him now were the same ones calling him a hero when he got Obama to admit to spreading the wealth. He doesn't endorse their candidate, so now he's old news or worse, a sell-out. People lighten up. He's just another American trying to do what he thinks is best.
