The CEOs would be nuts not to ask for open hearings, and they should bring their bookkeepers.

Waxman’s invitation was a warning to other companies who haven’t yet publicized their expected Obamacare costs. They may have to announce them, but if they know what is good for them they had better do it in 4 point type in a footnote buried deep in their annual report instead of on national TV.

Well, Studds didn’t have numbers that don’t lie to confound his accusers in public.

Waxman is displaying the attitude that the communists, (Democrats), have. They are convinced they are the overlords.

So far, they’re right, unfortunately.

Shoot, these companies should Cloward/Piven (i.e. overwhelm with volume) the inquisition panel. Let’s see the entire Fortune 500 do this.

After Waxman asks his first question, the lucky CEO who responds should ask, “Senator Waxman, were you dropped on your head as a baby?”

What I want to see is Waxman’s “Independent Analysis” since it was * I assume) made at taxpayer cost.

He doesn’t plan on letting them speak the truth.

Ah but Waxman will no doubt portray big businesses as taking as credits they didn’t deserve. He adn the Desm will keep on their Big Biz is eveil theme. They forget that big biz is made up of employees.

AS I understand Bush gave Big Biz ( well all Biz) a subsidy IF they would provide drug coverage for their retirees instead of dumping millions and millions into Part D
So Big biz got a 28% subsidy , paid the other 72% and took a 1005 tax credit. The 285 subsidy was still cheaper than the gov’t paying for the retirees under Pard D

Now Waxman is going to try to make Big Biz evil saying they don’t deserve the subsidy and the tax break on the 28%

I hope each and every employee or retiree let’s Congress know.

Waxman should publish his voodoo economics if he dares.

In all honesty, from appearances, it looks as if he was dropped on his face as a baby.

It would explain his face.

No, not really....explaining his face would mean that his mama always picked him up by her index and middle fingers in his nostrils....that would explain how he looks...

There was a voodoo economist on CNBC this afternoon from Economic Policy Institute, the EXTREME FAR LEFT STALINIST think tank in Washington, D.C., saying the it was “fairer” to eliminate the tax favored treatment of retiree plans. This will be the meme used by the Phantom of the Opera, aka Henry Waxbutt. The EPI sociopathic economist called it a loophole. His opposing speaker said it wasn’t a loophole it was designed as good policy. Of course, it will play extremely poorly with normal people. So, blow up it will.

Forceps are normally used on the head of a baby in delivery. Waxman had them shoved up his nose.

I really hope the millions of people who will be directly affected by this speak up
Wasxman may have staeted something he wished he hadn’t

I hope it is on CSPAN
