This is what it has come to. In this news column from the AP on the Tea Party rally in Harry Reids hometown of Searchlight, Nev., yesterday, the AP puts the burden of proof on Andrew Breitbart to prove that no one yelled the N-word at the Congressional Black Caucus in Washington last Sunday:

It is very simple too prove the democrats racists. The past history of the party leaves no defense.
To: W. W. SMITH
Simple: which party/ideology defends and promotes laws that treat citizens differently based on skin color?
case closed.

I think Andrew Dice Clay had something to say about someone being “borderline gay”.
Either you [do] or you [do not].

Answer: AP, don't be stupid; everyone with at least half a brain knows that you cannot prove a negative. On top of which, the burden of proving, or disproving, an assertion is apon the person making that assertion - since
you have alleged that Tea Party members are racist, then
you must prove that allegation, which is presumed to be false until you prove otherwise.
Typical Alinsky-style propaganda disinformation tactic.

“Obama, the black congressional caucus and the media have set back race relations 50 years.”
Which is exactly their goal and the goal of all libs.

"...O.K. when you prove Obama is a US citizen..."
O.K. when you prove Obama is a natural born US citizen.
There. Your post needed a slight correction. :-)

Does that mean AP didn’t use Kenyan-Born and that particular paper just added it to the original article? Does AP ever vary their articles, depending on where they are printed?
Is The Standard a reputable paper? Sorry about all the questions.

“If the AP is so concerned with racist. Tell them to look at the Black Caucus, the Hispaninc Caucus and the hunderds of other race based groups.”
If there was a White Caucus, libs would be screaming RACIST!!! But since groups like the Black Caucus revolve around people with “skin of color,” libs call it ethnic solidarity. Orwell-speak.
To: chessplayer
Don’t have to “prove” that Tea Partiers are not racist; the burden of proof is on the AP to prove that they are.
To: chessplayer
Have yet to hear definitive proof that this actually happened but for the sake of argument let's just say it did. What does this prove when you have absolutely no proof as to exactly who said it? For all any one knows a rabid commie could have shouted this out. This is nothing more than another lame attempt to paint the Right with as broad a negative brush as a means to counter criticism of socialism. I would imagine we will be hearing this same tune from the media between now an the election.

If someone came up with a hard copy of the story printed in a USA paper, I would then call Snopes a liar.

The AP has just challenged someone to prove an imagined event didn’t happen. Typical lib logic. “We here at the AP challenge you to prove that you do not intend to dynamite the UN building.” That’s the kind of logic that was used in the ex-Soviet Union.

“87% of AP personnel are gay.”
And the other 13% go both ways.
To: chessplayer
If Tea Party events were chock full of people uttering racist and violent words directed at Obama and libs in general, it would be a simple matter for Big Lib Media to tape actual racist and violent words and actions. That have to concoct out of thin air the lie about racist words hurled at a Dem congressman speaks volumes about how actually un-racist and un-violent the Tea Parties are.
