Mrs. Don-o, thank you for your kind post. I sincerely appreciate it.

I would have no problem discussing these things, however, I have to tell you that, at this point, I can't imagine where the discussion would begin.

I think there is such a gulf between Catholic theology and what I, as a born-again believer (not to be confused with mainline Protestant "churches" who have no concept of the meaning of Christianity and have slapped God in the face so many times I am sickened that they call themselves Christians), believe about Scripture and the infallibility and absolute inerrancy of Scripture, and the fact that I am horrified and completely intolerant of any attempt to add or take away anything in the word of God, that I'm not sure where we'd begin.

I do believe you have a good heart, and I am not interested in bashing the beliefs of others until and only until, there is someone who not only denies doctrines and facts as God put them in His Bible, but does so arrogantly and condescendingly.

I will not arbitrarily engage someone else, no matter what they believe, in argument about their beliefs until they attempt to change Scripture.

If, after reading my post, you'd like to respond, I'll be here.

Thanks to you for your sincere response. Right now I have to go dig in my garden (thunderstorm coming!!) but I will get back to you later, after gardening, supper and dishes!

In the meantime, let's pray for each other. God bless you.
