Perhaps tuning in to NBC's "The Chris Matthews Show" isn't high on your list of priorities, outside of wanting the chance to catch Dan Rather suggest something bizarre like President Barack Obama couldn't sell watermelons. However, if you had watched the March 28 broadcast of the program, you would have found the show's roster of panelists think the Tea Party movement is a black mark on the Republican Party, as far as it pertains to unseating the Democratic majority in Congress.

Matthews' show featured NBC Capitol Hill correspondent Kelly O'Donnell, Newsweek's senior Washington correspondent Howard Fineman, CNN senior political analyst Gloria Borger and Atlantic senior editor Andrew Sullivan. In the aftermath of the passage of ObamaCare into law, some have suggested this was a defeat for the Tea Party movement. Matthews asked if the mere existence of this movement was a plus or minus for the Republican Party.

Not a surprise they don't like the tea party movement, but I'm perplexed they're downplaying the threat of this grassroots movement.

Remember, most of those who used to watch CNN and PMSNBC are now tuning in to the Cartoon Network to get their news.

Hmmmmm. And the 99% of the MSM and the Democrats are giving the rest a bad name. What’s their point? If they don’t like it, it must be evil because they don’t like it? Wankers.

You were expecting sanity from CNN pundits? Do you expect sanity from Chrissy Matthews, the “Spitter in Chief”?

Why not ask Lawrence O’Donnell why he is now an open socialist, and a crazy one at that?

Is that POS Ed Schulz at CNN or MSNBC? He’s another supremo nutto.

Between CNN and MSNBC, it sounds like Beerfest Night at an insane asylum.

The fact that Chris Matthews’ and his guests think the Tea Party is bad, is proof positive that the Tea Party is the greatest thing that ever happened to the Republican Party.

More entertaining, better commentary, and a more mature treatment of the subject matter on the cartoon network, imho.

Yay for Kelly O’Donnell. She is a breath of fresh air over on Nutty News. She is what a professional news reporter should be. Few and far between over there in looneyland.

This is part of a letter that I faxed to 100 congressman.

I’m going to push for more sunshine laws. If it takes putting audio and video recording devices in very hook and cranny in every corner of every room in Washington, so be it. There will be so much light it will make the streets of London look like the dark side of the moon.

STOP YOUR OUT CONTROLL SPENDING.

Hilarious. And they accuse Fox of being a mouthpiece for the right. What do they think this line up is ? Not even an attempt at balance.

Okay, that doesn’t sound right.

With that lineup, I’m surprised it wasn’t unanimous. Including Chris.

Exactly! That routine is SO old - their propaganda is worn out. Who watches them anyway. They count on their audience being dumb but even the dumb are now speaking out at tea parties.
