Hopefully, all these companies will offer a polite “no thanks”.....
Wellll.... if judge greer (terri's death judge) can thumb his nose at Congress (HE was supeoned (sp?) to appear in congress & ignored it), I guess these companies can do the same, yes?
Actually, I would like to see the CEOs and all of their accountants and attorneys show up. Put the facts right out there in plain sight of the public. Expose the true costs of this socialization of our country. I would even want the CEOs to use the venue to announce that X number of plants will have to be closed and X thousands of jobs are going to have to be eliminated because of these new taxes and penalties.
If I were an exec. at one of those MANY companies ordered to show up, I would simply not go — NO ONE should show up.
We need a few of these heads of large corporations to attend these hearings.
Then.....when it is their turn before the Inquisition to tell it straight to the TV cameras that Waxman works for them and the American people. We do not answer to him - the elected representative, but he to them and tell Waxman to shove it.
Then get up and walk out.
Our officials in DC are way too cocky and self-important. Vote the bastards out while it can be done.
If I were the head of one of these companies that was dragged in for a show trial, I would not be polite and allow the Rat SOB’s to lecture me about not lying down and taking it.
