As a minister’s son who watched the social justice con artists destroy the Methodist church for 50 years, I can attest to the fact that Beck is right and this Wallis charlatan is wrong. Social justice is a code word not only for Marxism but for perversion. As my father used to say, if ministers don’t want to stick with the gospel of Christ crucified and risen from the dead — if they want to preach their “roll your own” heresy — they should do the intellectually honest thing and leave to church to start up a social movement.
My grandmother just returned to her Methodist church because they’ve taken a traditional turn away from what appeared to be Gaia worship.
Good works are always a fruit of faith. There’s nothing wrong with a church wanting to do good works because its people believe in (on) Jesus for personal salvation. To let the good works elbow aside the gospel message of salvation by faith, or to become perversions themselves, is an abomination.
